Jack Carson. "Arsenic and Old Lace" stars Cary Grant, Priscilla Lane and Peter Lorre. A man about to be married discovers that his elderly aunts are serial killers, in this black comedy from 1944. Jack Carson also stars in "Princess O'Rourke", "Mildred Pierce" and "Romance on the High Seas".
Jack Elam. "Hawmps!" is about a calvary unit in the 1800's in need of horses. What they get is camels! This is a cute movie that I remember seeing with my parents and sister in 1976. It stars James Hampton, Christopher Connelly, Slim Pickens and Denver Pyle. Jack Elam has also appeared in "The Cannonball Run" movies as well as many, many westerns since 1944.
Jack Oakie. "The Great Dictator", from 1940, is Charlie Chaplin's satire of Hitler and the Nazis. He plays Adenoid Hynkel, who is the dictator of Tomania. His ally Benzino Napaloni is the dictator of Bacteria. Jack Oakie also appeared in "Tin Pan Alley", "Around the World in Eighty Days" and "Alice in Wonderland" from 1933 (he played Tweedledum).
Jack Palance. "Sudden Fear", from 1952, stars Joan Crawford as a successful playwright who marries actor Lester Blaine. When she finds out that he only married her for her money and plans to kill her, she devises a plan of her own for Lester. Gloria Grahame, Bruce Bennett and Mike Connors also star. "Sudden Fear" earned four Oscar nominations including Best Actress for Joan Crawford and Best Supporting Actor for Jack Palance.

Jack Davenport. Jack Davenport played the man who wanted to marry Elizabeth Swann in "POTC". He has also appeared in "Fierce Creatures", "The Wisdom of Crocodiles" and "The Talented Mr. Ripley".
Jack Warden. Roy and Luke Fuchs own used car dealerships across the street from each other, and Roy (the bad one) wants Luke's property because he's paying off the mayor to get the new interstate to run through the area. Luke has an 'accident', arranged by his brother, and now his car salesman Kurt Russell must act like it's business as usual to prevent Roy from taking over the property. Jack Warden also appeared in "Being There", "Death on the Nile" and "The Replacements".
None of them. General Allenby was played by a Jack, but it was Jack Hawkins. "Lawrence of Arabia" was about T.E. Lawrence's experiences in North Africa. Jack Hawkins also appeared in "The Bridge on the River Kwai", "Ben-Hur" and "The Malta Story".
Jack Albertson. In "Willy Wonka", a boy wins a chance to go inside a secretive candy factory. Jack Albertson has appeared in "The Poseidon Adventure", "Son of Flubber" and "Days of Wine and Roses". He also starred in the TV series "Chico and the Man".
Jack Lemmon. From 1954, "Phffft!" also stars Jack Carson (as Charlie Nelson), Kim Novak and Luella Gear. It's a hilarious movie about a couple (Lemmon and Holliday) who decide to divorce, but can't live without each other. During his career, Jack Lemmon was nominated for eight Oscars, and won two for "Mr. Roberts" and "Save the Tiger".
Jack Benny. Joseph Tura and his wife Maria (Carole Lombard) are the leaders of an acting troupe in WWII Poland. They must prevent an important message about the Polish resistance from getting to the Nazis, by any means possible. This great comedy from 1942 also stars Robert Stack, Felix Bressart and Lionel Atwill. Jack Benny also appeared in "Artists & Models", "The Horn Blows at Midnight" and "A Guide for the Married Man".
Marlon Brando. "Don Juan DeMarco" also stars Johnny Depp, Faye Dunaway and Rachel Ticotin. It is the story of a young man (Depp) who believes he is Don Juan, the greatest lover in the world, and the psychiatrist (Brando) who tries to make him realize that he's not. Listening to Don Juan's stories re-awakens in Jack a love of life and romance.
Harrison Ford. Ford had previously played Jack Ryan in "Patriot Games", and had played Jack Trainer in "Working Girl". Jack Ryan was played by Alec Baldwin in "The Hunt for Red October", and by Ben Affleck in "The Sum of All Fears".
Johnny Depp. In "Private Resort", Jack and his buddy Ben (played by Rob Morrow), go to a resort to pick up girls, and end up catching a jewel thief. This was Depp's second movie, and was two years prior to his role in "21 Jump Street". Of course, Johnny Depp also played that other Jack, Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean", but that question would have been too easy.
Kevin Bacon. Kevin Bacon has also played characters named Jack in "A Few Good Men", "Friday the 13th", "My Dog Skip" and "Quicksilver". In "Apollo 13", Tom Hanks played Jim Lovell, Bill Paxton played Fred Haise and Gary Sinise played Ken Mattingly.
Michael Douglas. Jack Colton went on various adventures with Joan Wilder (Kathleen Turner) in "Romancing the Stone" and "Jewel of the Nile". Michael Douglas has also starred in "Falling Down", "Fatal Attraction" and "A Chorus Line".
Jeff Bridges. Jeff Bridges has played characters named Jack in "Jagged Edge", "King Kong", "The Muse", "Rancho Deluxe", "American Heart" and "The Fisher King". He stars in "The Fabulous Baker Boys" with his brother, Beau Bridges, and Michelle Pfeiffer. Two brothers with a lounge act hire a female singer. Things get tense when younger brother Jack has an affair with her.
Leonardo DiCaprio. "Titanic" also stars Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Frances Fisher, Kathy Bates and Bernard Hill. Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater (Winslet) fall in love when they are passengers on Titanic's first and only voyage. Leonardo DiCaprio also stars in "Catch Me If You Can", "The Beach" and "What's Eating Gilbert Grape", for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Steve Guttenberg. Jack Bonner was the owner of the boat that the aliens rented to retrieve their friends from the bottom of the ocean. Steve Guttenberg has also starred in "Short Circuit", "Three Men and a Baby" and "Police Academy".
Brian Doyle-Murray. Based on fact and fiction, "JFK" is about a district attorney from New Orleans, who takes it upon himself to investigate the assassination of President Kennedy. It stars Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Bacon, Gary Oldman and Michael Rooker. Brian Doyle-Murray can also be seen in "Groundhog Day", "Multiplicity" and "As Good As It Gets".
Neil Giuntoli. "Memphis Belle", from 1990, is about the 25th, and final, mission of a WWII bomber and its crew. It also stars Matthew Modine, Billy Zane, David Strathairn, John Lithgow, Sean Astin and Eric Stoltz. Neil Giuntoli can also be seen in "Up Close & Personal", "Next of Kin" and "The Shawshank Redemption".
