    Scarface .

Tony tells Manny to kill Frank Lopez. Tony kills Bernstein the cop. Tony then turns to Ernie, one of Frank's assistants, and does what?'Scarface' Trivia

offers him a job. A pretty intense time for Ernie, who was sweating profusely! Afterwards he's chugging a bottle of Jack Daniels to cool his nerves. Click on SEND A COMPLIMENT below, I'd love to get your feedback.

How did Omar Suarez, Frank's assistant, die?'Scarface' Trivia

He was hung. Sosa believed that Suarez was an informant for the police and had him beat up, then pushed out of a hovering helicopter with a noose around his neck while Tony watched.

What did Tony earn for killing Rebenga in the refugee camp?'Scarface' Trivia

Green Card. Lopez wanted revenge on the former Cuban politician. Tony: "I'd kill a communist for fun. For a green card, I'm gonna carve him up real good."

What's the name of the nightclub at which Frank Lopez liked to hang out?'Scarface' Trivia

The Babylon. Frank: "Let's go to The Babylon" Elvira: "You know if someone wanted to assassinate you, you wouldn't be hard to find."

What city is the majority of the movie set in?'Scarface' Trivia

Miami. I think the entire movie takes place there, except when Tony goes to Bolivia to meet with Sosa, and to New York to try to kill a reporter.

What phrase does Tony see on a blimp that inspires him?'Scarface' Trivia

The world is yours. You see this same phrase again on a big globe sculpture in the fountain that Tony falls into at the end of the movie.

This version of "Scarface" is actually a remake of a black and white film of the same title from probably over 50 years ago. What similarities does that original film NOT have with the recent one?'Scarface' Trivia

Cocaine is their main commodity.. I stumbled onto this older version when I saw "Scarface" in the TV Guide and sat down expecting to enjoy one of my favorite movies. The similarities were very interesting.

What happened that finally got Elvira to go with Tony as his girlfriend?'Scarface' Trivia

Frank Lopez was killed.. Elvira would barely look at Tony at the beginning of the movie, but his persistence paid off. (It didn't hurt that Frank was now dead and Tony was the next big honcho of the whole organization...)

Upon Tony's return from the botched New York job, who tells him where he might find Gina?'Scarface' Trivia

His Mother. His momma met with Tony and told him the address where she had seen Gina go. As he leaves, Momma says, "Why must you destroy everything you touch?!"

What does Manny do to a bikini-clad woman that gets him slapped while Tony and a little boy look on?'Scarface' Trivia

He wiggles his tongue at her.. Actually a lighter scene, compared to the rest. Manny thinks that his tongue will turn on American women. Tony corrects him, "First you get the money, then you get the power, THEN you get the women."

What business does Tony buy for his sister, Gina?'Scarface' Trivia

a hair salon. They show Gina cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

Near the end of the movie, Tony's about to be ambushed in his office when he pulls out an automatic rifle with a grenade launcher and yells what classic line?'Scarface' Trivia

"Say hello to my little friend!". Pacino at his best! One of my favorite parts of the movie.

What is Manny wearing when Tony kills him?'Scarface' Trivia

robe . Manny and Gina had just gotten married. I couldn't believe Tony killed his best friend who had just married his sister! Well, so much for Tony having a soft side!

Sosa wants Tony to help in the assasination of a reporter right before that reporter is to meet with who?'Scarface' Trivia

The United Nations. They were to blow up his car as he turned into the driveway. Tony wouldn't allow it because the guy's two children would also be killed. It was surprising that the ruthless Tony Montana had a soft side to him.

In return for helping Sosa and Alberto with the assasination attempt on the reporter, what will Tony get relative to his legal troubles?'Scarface' Trivia

No jail time.. No jail time was very important to Tony. Sosa has a partner from Washington D.C. who can keep him out of jail, but Tony will still have to pay some back taxes and a huge fine.

What make of vehicle does Tony look at in a showroom after Elvira says his current convertable looks like a nightmare?'Scarface' Trivia

Porsche. Tony then proceeds to have it bullet-proofed all over, then tells Manny to 'pay the man.'

How does Tony find out that it was Frank who ordered the hit on him at the Babylon Club?'Scarface' Trivia

With a phone call set-up. Tony had another guy call Frank and say, 'We (messed) up, he got away.' Tony observed that Frank got nervous and lied about the phone call. Soon afterwards, Frank admitted he was the one who ordered the hit. Shortly after that, he was dead.

Which is the FIRST rule that Frank recommends Tony live by to be a successful doper?'Scarface' Trivia

Don't underestimate the OTHER GUY'S greed. I don't think Tony follows the rule about getting high on his own supply... TONY once said to Manny (Referring to his sister), "You stay away from here, she's not for you!" SOSA told Tony, "Don't you ever (cheat) me."

At the time, Scarface set the record for what?'Scarface' Trivia

Most use of the F word. That word was used a record number of times. A record since broken by 'Goodfellows' and others. 42 people were killed, I'm sure your average war movie surpasses that. The movie runs 170 minutes. I don't know about the biggest snort, but he does a huge one near the end of the movie, before Sosa's men start invading the compound.

Tony's first big drug deal for Frank Lopez was to meet some dealers in a motel room. From what country are those dealers?'Scarface' Trivia

Colombia. Tony hates Colombians. This scene is one of the most intense scenes in any movie. The Colombians take the chain saw to Angel's (Tony's partner) head!

What was the name of the fenced-in area where Tony and Manny are sent right after they get admitted into the U.S.?'Scarface' Trivia

Freedom Town. Surrounded by fencing, it certainly didn't look very 'free' did it?

What wild animal was Tony always interested in and eventually bought?'Scarface' Trivia

tiger. After his wedding vows, Tony takes the group out back to see his very own tiger tied to a tree by a creek.

In what year did the movie take place?'Scarface' Trivia

1980. In the summer of '80, the U.S. had opened its doors to immigrants from Cuba, so Castro took advantage of this by getting rid of as much of their criminal element as he could.

Just before Tony asks Elvira to marry him, she pours him a drink from the poolside mini-bar. What's the drink?A Brief "Scarface" Quiz

whiskey. Elvira seems to pour the same drink for herself, as well.

Just before Tony is almost killed at the Babylon Club, a noted stand-up comic plays the part of the club's emcee, who introduces an unusual entertainer. Who is this stand-up comic?A Brief "Scarface" Quiz

Richard Belzer. Belzer would later achieve unlikely fame on the TV show "Homicide" and endless permutations of "Law and Order".

Several times in the film, cocaine is referred to not as "blow" or "white," but rather by a Spanish nickname. What term do Omar Suarez and Mel Bernstein (Harris Yulin) use to refer to cocaine?A Brief "Scarface" Quiz

yeyo. Anyone out there know the origin of this term? All I can find from a brief internet search is that "yeyo" is, and I quote, "a Spanish term for cocaine."

When Tony sees his sister Gina (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) for the first time in many years, he presents her with a gift. What does he give her?A Brief "Scarface" Quiz

a necklace. A large heart hangs from the ornate necklace.

To drown out the noise of Angel's murder, one of the Colombians turns up the television in the hotel room. What movie is playing as Angel is being killed?A Brief "Scarface" Quiz

Earthquake. The famous 1974 disaster movie is clearly recognizable to anyone who's seen it...and it is an awfully loud film!

While working as a dishwasher, Tony and his best friend Manolo (Steven Bauer) are offered a job by Omar Suarez (F. Murray Abraham). How much does Suarez offer to pay Tony and Manny for buying some cocaine from Colombian associates?A Brief "Scarface" Quiz

$5,000. Tony and Manny are offered five grand for making the buy.

Early in the film, Tony Montana (Al Pacino) is interrogated by law enforcement officers the moment he arrives in the USA. He tells these men a number of things. Which of the things he says to these men turns out to be TRUE?A Brief "Scarface" Quiz

He served in the army in Cuba.. We learn later in the film that Tony HAS been in jail, and that his mother is still alive. His claim about having served in the army, though, seems to be legitimate -- that's where he and Manolo learned how to use machine guns, if nothing else.
