Michael Jackson Lyrics
Don't Walk Away. "I close my eyes just to try and see you smile one more time. But it's been so long now all I do is cry. Can't we find some love to take this away? Cause the pain gets stronger every day. How can I begin again? How am I to understand? When there's nothing left to do but walk away."
No. The song was nominated in 1972, but lost out to 'The Morning After'. Michael was 14 when he recorded 'Ben'.
Willard. If you think that the movie 'Ben' was bad, please stay away from 'Willard'. I was actually cheering for the rats in this one!
like Ben. This is still one of my favorite songs though, and I get upset because Michael never performs it in concert anymore.
as I do. Who knew exactly how weird he would ultimately become.
a word. Michael Jackson had pet rats himself around this period in time.
place to go. I bet this movie is featured prominently on her resume:)
feel. The authorities finally manage to kill his posse, but the little boy finds Ben hurt but alive, and saves him.
running. Ben is the leader of a pack of killer rats(real cuddly type, isn't he?)
to call my own. The plot is pretty lame.
looking for. The best thing about it is this song.
Scream. This song was a duet with Michaels sister Janet. It's off the "HIStory - Past, Present And Future" album.
You Rock My World. "You rocked my world, you know you did, and everything I own I give, the rarest love who'd think I'd find, someone like you to call mine." This one and "2000 Watts" are my two absolute favorites on the Invincible album.
Will You Be There. "Weary, tell me will you hold me, when wrong will you scold me?, when lost will you find me? But they told me, a man should be faithful, and walk when not able, and fight 'till the end, but I'm only human." This song is one of my favorites, also, and actually became my very first favorite.
Earth Song. "I used to dream, I used to glance beyond the stars, now I don't know where we are, although I know, we've drifted far! Aaaaah!" I love this song, because its incredible how much he gets into it, and the music video is really awesome. He gets really into it as the wind is so strong that it's almost blowing him away, and he hangs on to a tree.
Leave Me Alone. "So just leave me alone girl-leave me alone; leave me alone; leave me alone-stop it! Just stop doggin' me around." I don't know why, but I love listening to that chorus you just read and then-BAM!--he comes out with "Stop it! Just stop doggin' me around."
Billie Jean. "People always told me, be careful of who you love, and don't go around breaking young girls hearts; but she came and stood right by me, and then the smell of sweet perfume, this happened much too soon, she called me to her room." I love this music video, and I absolutely loved this performance of this song in his January 2002 concert.
Bad. "Well they say the sky's the limit, and to me that's really true, but my friend you have seen nothin', just wait 'till I get through, because I'm bad..." This song and music video are, as well, one of my favorites. It's the longest of his videos and took four days to film.
Beat It. "Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it; no one wants to be defeated. Showin' how funky strong is your fight, it doesn't matter, who's wrong or right." This song and music video are about my fifth favorite.
The Way You Make Me Feel. "Give it to me, give me some time; come on be my girl, I wanna be with mine." I love this song, and the music video is also one of my favorites.
2000 Watts. "2000 watts, 8 ohms, 200 volts, real strong. Too much of that, fuse blown, be careful what you say don't overload." Whenever I listen to this song, especially that chorus you just read, I feel like I'm walking on air--it's a really cool song.
Smooth Criminal. "There's a sign in the window, that he struck you, a crescendo Annie. He came into your apartment, he left the bloodstains, on the carpet. Then you ran into the bedroom, you were struck down, it was your doom." This is one of my favorite music videos.
What song are these lyrics from: "Then there's screaming in the dark.. Hear the beating of his heart. Can you feel it in the air? Ghosts be hiding everywhere.."
