Shuriken. One might be inclined to call them 'Ninja Stars' due to the fact that Ninjas are prominantly known for the use of them. Their proper name though would be shuriken, which also happens to mean 'dart' in Japanese.

Shuri Ryu. Shuri Ryu Karate was the first style of Karate to be taught in the United States by an American to Americans. It was introduced by Robert Trias in 1946. Which was also the first Karate school in America.
Kuen. Kuen is the Chinese term used for form, solo training exercises like the Karate Kata, Taekwondo Poomse or Hyung.
