ski lodge. Both characters were spending the holidays at a ski resort. They met during the New Year's Eve party, where they were forced to sing karaoke together.
Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez. Troy Bolton is played by Zac Efron ("Summerland", "Miracle Run"). Gabriella Montez is played by Vanessa Ann Hudgens ("Thunderbirds", "Thirteen").

Her porch. Troy stops by Gabriella's house and she refuses to talk to him. Troy sneaks into the backyard and calls her on his cell phone. Then he climbs up onto the porch to talk to her face to face.

Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the first scene that the school is shown in, the caption tells us that his school is in Albuquerque. In the beginning of the movie, Troy is not in Albuquerque though because he mentions that he was snowboarding on his winter break.
red and white. The colors red and white are all over the school and on the basketball team's uniforms too.
Winter. The caption in the beginning reads "New Year's Eve" and the students mention snowboarding over break. Basketball is also a winter sport.

8. The first person to try out was a girl who had a horrible voice. Next was a boy who couldn't remember the lines. Then there was a girl who kept winking at Ms. Darbus. Fourth was a girl who was singing the song in opera. Next was a guy doing ballet. Sixth and seventh were two people doing the song interpretively. Last was a girl who was too scared to even start singing.
braniacs. When she is singing in the song "Status Quo", she states that hip-hop is her real passion and she even thinks it's cooler then homework.
reading. She is reading a book on her bed, which is strange because when the phone rings, she turns on the light, but one would think she would have already had the light on to read.

Yes. At the very end of the movie, after the credits, there is a short scene where Sharpay is seen running into the gym where a crestfallen Zeke is standing. She tells him that the cookies he made her are delicious and she wants more. The movie ends with Zeke smiling and saying, "I might even make you creme brule."
Bolton. We find this out because his dad is called Coach Bolton. Mrs. Darbus also calls Troy by his full name.
10 and 14. 14 is the number he wears for the big game. 44 is the number of the person on the team played by the choreographer. 10 is the number he wears at some practices.

Invented the space shuttle and microwave popcorn. Troy responds to this with, "Microwave popcorn. Funny." After this, Troy's dad comes in and kicks Gabriella out of the gym.
Kindergarten. Troy reminds her of this when they are at the call backs and she gets stage fright. The song they are going to sing is "Breaking Free."
Skater dudes. When he says that, his friend doesn't know what a cello is and asks him. He says, "It's like a giant violin."
"Start of Something New". This is the very first song in the movie. They sing this at party as karaoke.
17. She says that she has been in all the schools productions when Troy and Gabriella are looking at the audition sign up list. If you look at the wall the list is on there are lots pictures of Sharpay and Ryan. After she and Ryan audition she says the specific number.
Are. They both sing this word together. Then the audience bursts into applause.
light blue. Gabriella Montez was wearing a light blue shirt and black pants. Troy Bolton was wearing a white button down shirt and jeans. They sang "Start Of Something New" that night. The two were picked randomly out of the crowd. Neither of them were excited about it at first. Then something magical happened on stage - they liked each other!
Sharpay Evans. Sharpay and Ryan Evans starred in all the school's musicals, and didn't want anyone to take their places. Sharpay cooked up a plan to stop Gabriella and Troy from coming to their callbacks. Ryan was a little farther behind, asking Sharpay question after question. Troy and Gabriella did make it to their callbacks, though.
Kelsi. When Kelsi saw Ryan and Sharpay trying to get Ms. Darbus to change the day of the callbacks, she hid under the piano. When Troy, Gabriella, Taylor, and Chad saw what they did, they were all very upset. Troy came up with a plan so he could be at the basketball game, Gabriella could be at the Scholastic Decathlon, and still have time for the callbacks.
Charlie's Angel. When Chad and Taylor were trying to separate Troy and Gabriella, Taylor said, "We're a go, Chad. But we're not Charlie's Angels". So Chad answered, "I can dream can't I?" So, it's not exactly said in the movie, but then again, it is!
White. Sharpay Evans was wearing a white tank top and white pants. Ryan was wearing a red shirt and black pants. They both had a solo in "We're All In This Together". Ryan even acted as a bridge for Sharpay. Figures! Sharpay was the old queen with Troy as her king, but now Gabriella's the new queen, but Troy's still king.
Phantom Of The Opera. She put Michael Crawford's picture in her refrigerator, instead of on the fridge. Chad didn't know why, seeing that the female mind is twisted. Troy was confused at this point.
Yes. He stopped at a set of lockers, and stood there until Gabriella showed up. Apparently, she was late, because Troy said, "You're late!" They both seemed very happy, though.
