Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information

    'South Park' - Season 6

Who was Lemmiwinks' guide?"South Park" - "The Death Camp of Tolerance" (rj211)

the Frog King. When Lemmiwinks found himself unable to escape from Mr. Slave through the same orifice he'd entered, the Frog King appeared to offer guidance: "Lemmiwinks, you must find a way out of this place, or you will surely die. This way has been closed off by the Great Sphincter. To escape you must journey upward to the dark reaches of the intestine and past the stomach. Who am I? Just a friend. Heed my words, Lemmiwinks; your time is running out. Make for the large intestine. All will be made clear then."

Which of the museum's "wax sculptures" was actually a real person?"South Park" - "The Death Camp of Tolerance" (rj211)

sleepy Mexican. In the Hall of Stereotypes, the museum had wax figures to represent various stereotypes. There was a "black person eating chicken and watermelon" who had a gun tucked into his waistband, an Arab terrorist, an Asian with a calculator, and a Jew hording money. Randy Marsh identified a fifth stereotype as "the stereotypical 'sleepy Mexican,'" pointing to a man sleeping next to a mop and bucket. As soon as Randy had identified the stereotype, though, the man woke up, saying, "I'm the janitor. I'm s'pose to be cleaning but I'm so tire. Oh, so sleepy." The Tour Guide quickly ushered them on to another room.

    Where was Kenny's body?"South Park" - "A Ladder to Heaven" (rj211)

cremated in an urn. At first, Cartman didn't understand, and asked, "You turned him into a teapot?"

Where did Cartman go to try to get Kenny's soul removed?"South Park" - "A Ladder to Heaven" (rj211)

Unplanned Parenthood. After realizing what he'd done, Cartman resolved, "I can't live like this. I... I have to find a place where they remove living souls from your body." He then walked into Unplanned Parenthood and tried to make an appointment. When a man, angry that Cartman's antics in the lobby had discouraged his girlfriend from going through with an abortion, hit Cartman on the head with a rock, it triggered another flashback. This time, Cartman saw where Kenny had hidden the ticket!

When the General was showing President Bush photos of Saddam Hussein's supposed weapons production site, what did Dick Cheney say he saw?"South Park" - "A Ladder to Heaven" (rj211)

a seagull. The General explained that the recon team on the ladder had found evidence that Hussein was building weapons of mass destruction in Heaven. He showed the president photos, pointing out a missile silo and "what looks like a laboratory of some sort for making chemical weapons." Cheney looked at the photos of clouds and observed, "That... kinda looks like a seagull." The General agreed, "Yes. It could be a laboratory disguised as a seagull." The General then advocated bombing Heaven!

When the boys weren't seeing Heaven, what did Cartman compare it to?"South Park" - "A Ladder to Heaven" (rj211)

pixie fairies. Cartman suggested that they weren't seeing Heaven because one of them didn't believe enough. Just like "the pixie fairies of Bubble Yum Forest, you only see them if you really believe in them." Stan was still confused, so Cartman explained his theory further: "You know, maybe we're not seeing Heaven because one of us is a J-O-O." Kyle rejected Cartman's logic, pointing out that Jews do believe in Heaven, "just not a Christian Heaven." Cartman retorted, "Right. Your idea of Heaven is getting five dollars off your matzah ball soup at Barney's Beanery by lying about a hair in it." Kyle, fed up, punched Cartman and induced another flashback.

When the boys converged on Bebe's house to watch "Terrance and Phillip", where did her mom tell them she was?"South Park" - "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" (rj211)

at Cartman's. Bebe and Cartman were "playing Lambs;" Cartman had roped Bebe into doing voices with him for the reenactment! When the other boys arrived, they started to devolve into inarticulate, Neanderthal-like beings, grunting and fighting with one another. Then Stan found a bone and bludgeoned the other boys in an homage to "2001: A Space Odyssey".

What would be saved if Stan won the rematch with Tad?"South Park" - "Asspen" (rj211)

the youth center. Invited by the geeky teen girl to the dance at the youth center, Stan found himself again confronted by Tad, who secured a rematch. However, the stakes were a little higher on this race. If Stan won, Tad's father would have to leave the youth center standing, but the location of the race was to be the ultra-dangerous K-13.

What was the theme of the "Maury" show Cartman went on with his mom?"South Park" - "Freak Strike" (rj211)

Please Help My Out of Control Child. He'd originally called the show to try to get on as another boy with balls on his chin, but was told they were now casting for this new show. He assured the assistant that he was out of control and she pulled out her checklist to screen him: Assistant: "Is your mother in tears every day over how disobedient you are?" Cartman: "Uh, sure!" Assistant: "Does she worry about you doing drugs and having sex at such a young age?" Cartman: "Yeah, sure. I do crack and potpourri and queazies..."

What was the shopping spree for?"South Park" - "A Ladder to Heaven" (rj211)

candy. Stan, Kyle, and Cartman arrived at the candy shop to take advantage of the shopping spree they'd won in a raffle, but were told they couldn't get the prize without presenting their half of the raffle ticket. Unfortunately, they'd left the ticket with Kenny for safekeeping and he'd died!

What was the dominant feature of Mr. Garrison's costume for the Museum of Tolerance's awards ceremony?"South Park" - "The Death Camp of Tolerance" (rj211)

Vegas showgirl headdress. Mr. Garrison rode Mr. Slave onto the stage, wearing a big feathered headdress with matching boa and bra top. He was also wearing heels and strap-on genitalia. Mr. Slave was wearing what he considered a horse costume: cowboy boots, red thong, arm bands, what looked like a Trojan face mask, and a tail.

What tool did the Sparrow Prince give Lemmiwinks to help him on his journey?"South Park" - "The Death Camp of Tolerance" (rj211)

helmet torch. The Sparrow Prince met Lemmiwinks in the small intestine and gave him a "magic helmet torch" to guide his way. As the Sparrow Prince warned Lemmiwinks, "Before you lies the maze of the small intestine. One path leads to the stomach, the other to certain doom. Take with you this helmet and torch. Let them be your guide." Lemmiwinks wisely donned the helmet and continued on his journey.

What successfully distracted Tad so that Stan could win the race?"South Park" - "Asspen" (rj211)

geeky girl's chest. After Tad lay all his traps for Stan, the geeky teen girl approached Tad, saying "I just thought I could distract you... with these." Then she lifted up her shirt and flashed Tad. While he stood transfixed, Stan slowly moved past him and crossed the finish line, winning the race! Of course, it was later revealed that the awe-inspiring sight was not her breasts, but two strange mutant-like creatures affixed to her chest where her breasts should have been!

What song was Cartman singing during the flashback he had atop the ladder?"South Park" - "A Ladder to Heaven" (rj211)

In the Ghetto. This was seemingly a flashback to the episode, "Chickenpox", where the boys were sent to stay with Kenny in order to contract chickenpox. On the way to Kenny's house, Cartman sang Elvis Presley's "In the Ghetto". It clearly made Kenny mad, as he yelled angrily at Cartman. As Cartman snapped out of the flashback, he was still speaking as Kenny, yelling "Shut up, Cartman, you blood-belching vagina!"

What question did Bebe pose in order to test her mother's smarts?"South Park" - "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" (rj211)

"What's 6x8?". Bebe was troubled by her girlfriends' mean comments and wondered why the boys were treating her differently and saying she was smart. Bebe confided in her mom, "Sometimes I think I'm not as smart and cool as they say. That everyone just tells me I am because of my hooters." Bebe's mom replied, "Sweetie, you're a Stevens, and Stevens women are always told they're really, really smart." Bebe didn't seem entirely reassured and asked her mom what the product of 6 and 8 was, to which her mom replied, "Oh, sweetie! Those are two completely different numbers!"

What public office did Cartman claim to have won?"South Park" - "Freak Strike" (rj211)

Congressman. Cartman, continually trying to one-up Vanity and shine as the most Out of Control guest on the show, claimed, "I ran for Congress and won. Then I had sex with an intern, killed her, and hid her body. What-eva! I'll do what I want!" Evidently, Cartman was envisioning himself in Gary Condit's shoes!

What movie was Cartman reenacting with his dolls?"South Park" - "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" (rj211)

The Silence of the Lambs. He had a little dog doll, whom he called "Precious", and Polly Prissy Pants at the bottom of a hole he'd dug in the floor, to whom he gave orders: "It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."

What movie did Cartman claim to have altered?"South Park" - "Freak Strike" (rj211)

Star Wars. After Vanity told Maury that she'd "helped in a drive-by shooting," Cartman countered, "Whatever. I digitally put Jabba the Hutt back into the original 'Star Wars' movie! I'll do what I want!" Maury agreed, "Wow, that is out of control!"

What happened in Bebe's front yard after her mom dismissed the boys for the day?"South Park" - "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" (rj211)

a plane crashed. The pilots emerged, remarkably alive, and asked the boys to call 911. Still in Neanderthal-mode, the boys just grunted and squealed like apes. In a reference to "Planet of the Apes", the pilots assumed they'd traveled ahead in time and shot themselves, proclaiming that they'd rather die than live in the future.

What gifts did Cartman give Kyle when he announced he'd have to go in order to make room for Bebe to be the new "fourth friend?""South Park" - "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" (rj211)

watch and peanuts. Kyle protested because he'd been there "since the beginning" and Stan agreed. Cartman gave in and said they'd get rid of Tweek, but Stan and Kyle objected to that as well and instead had Bebe take Cartman's spot in the foursome.

What fake freak did the real freaks tell Butters about in the green room at at "The Maury Show"?"South Park" - "Freak Strike" (rj211)

Lobster Boy. Evidently, Lobster Boy used to go on all the talk shows and was "one of the most popular disfigured people" on the circuit. Then one day the freaks discovered that "Lobster Boy wasn't a real freak at all; he was just an actual lobster!" As punishment, the real freaks boiled him alive!

What did Thumper, the ski instructor, use to refer to the "two primary feet positions"?"South Park" - "Asspen" (rj211)

pizza and french fries. He explained skiing thusly: "To go slow, we wedge our skis together in the shape of a slice of pizza. Then to go faster, we put 'em parallel, like french fries." He had Ike go first down the hill, but when Ike crashed through the wall of the ski lodge below, Thumper summed up the failure as a misapplication of position: "Okay, you see what he did? He french fry'd when he should've pizza'd. You french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time."

What did the parents get served at the luncheon while Phil and Josh continued to try to sell them a time-share?"South Park" - "Asspen" (rj211)

filet mignon and lobster. They were pretty impressed by the quality of the meal. However, after the parents had eaten only a few bites, the waiters returned and removed the plates. Phil and Josh explained it was just like a time-share: "You get a little taste of luxuries you can't afford. And then share it with the people who come tomorrow."

What did the boys invite Bebe to do with them?"South Park" - "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" (rj211)

throw rocks at cars. As Butters explained, "you toss these little rocks at cars and if the driver gets angry, you blame me." Bebe responded that it sounded "hella fun" and that she'd join them.

What did the boys give to their parents as an explanation for why they were building a ladder to Heaven?"South Park" - "A Ladder to Heaven" (rj211)

to see Kenny. The sweet naiveté of the endeavor brought every adult in South Park (except Mr. Garrison) to tears.

What did the "'Star Trek' dorks" use to give Butters' chin balls shape?"South Park" - "Freak Strike" (rj211)

golf balls. They "made a plastic mold of his chin and then made a latex scrotum and put two golf balls inside." They used spirit gum to stick it to Butters' chin, blended the skin tone with make-up, added "a little hair, and Presto!" As payment, Cartman gave them the original Avid cut of "Star Wars Episode I".

What did Tad NOT plan to do to try to slow Stan down during the race?"South Park" - "Asspen" (rj211)

set off fireworks. First, he cut a tree down to cross the path, which Stan just climbed slowly over. Then he poured a bunch of sand in the path, which Stan presumably just made his way through carefully. Tad was preparing to release the hamsters to distract Stan when he suffered a bit of distraction himself.

What did Mr. Garrison tell the audience the museum would be named if it espoused liking what people did?"South Park" - "The Death Camp of Tolerance" (rj211)

Museum of Acceptance. Fed up that his ridiculous display was getting nothing but praise from the audience, Mr. Garrison finally snapped, saying, "this behavior should not be acceptable from a teacher!" When the audience members contended that the Museum taught them to be tolerant, Mr. Garrison taught them all a lesson: "Tolerant, but not stupid! Look, just because you have to tolerate something doesn't mean you have to approve of it! If you had to like it, it'd be called the Museum of Acceptance! 'Tolerate' means you're just putting up with it! You tolerate a crying child sitting next to you on the airplane, or... or you tolerate a bad cold. It can still piss you off! Jesus Tapdancing Christ!"

What did Kyle originally paint in the finger-painting session?"South Park" - "The Death Camp of Tolerance" (rj211)

a bear. The Camp Warden stopped and inquired as to what Kyle was painting and was furious to find it was a bear, pointing out that a "bear has nothing to do with accepting people of different races!" He tore up the painting and instructed Kyle to start over and make something more reflective of tolerance. When Kyle wasn't working fast enough, the Warden pulled out a gun and held it to Kyle's head until Kyle finished his painting of "people of all colors and creed holding hands beneath a rainbow." The Warden was satisfied with the image, but took it away and ordered Kyle to "do it again!"

What did Kenny/Cartman do that merited punishment?"South Park" - "The Death Camp of Tolerance" (rj211)

threw a paper airplane. Mr. Garrison was starting a lesson on communist Russia when Cartman's body was overtaken by Kenny's spirit (from back when he drank Kenny's ashes) and he folded and threw a paper airplane at the blackboard. Mr. Garrison turned around angrily, and only became more irate when the boys explained that it hadn't been Cartman but Kenny's spirit trapped in Cartman's body that was responsible for the interruption. Mr. Garrison exclaimed, "That does it! I will not put up with foolishness in my class! It's time for punishment!" Mr. Garrison then grabbed a paddle from his desk drawer and walked over to spank Mr. Slave with it before strapping a gag ball around Mr. Slave's mouth and swatting him some more. The class watched in horror, but Mr. Garrison thought he had his litigious millions in the bag!

What did Cartman think was the end of the prank that starts by putting a sleeping person's hand in warm water?"South Park" - "Asspen" (rj211)

pee on him. When the boys noticed Butters was asleep, Cartman wanted to show them a "trick" he knew. First he explained that when a person is sleeping "you can take a glass of warm water and put their hand in it." Stan asked what to do next, and Cartman replied gleefully, "And then you pee on it!" He dropped his pants and started peeing on Butters as Kyle corrected him, saying "No, dude, you're supposed to put their hand in warm water and it makes them pee." Cartman didn't seem concerned with this tiny detail and continued on, laughing all the while. When their parents all came in to announce the trip to Aspen, Butters woke up and noticed, "Oh, I'm all sticky."
