Answer: Resident Evil 4

Capcom started off "Devil May Cry" as a new "Resident Evil" but after they realized that it started to develop its own style it became "Devil May Cry". Killer 7 is a future project of Capcom and "Gungrave" is just another survival horror game.

Answer: 2.2 Million

"Devil May Cry" has many different aspects from various different Devil stories, such as the hero named Dante after the book Dante's Inferno. "Devil May Cry" is one of the most sucessful games on Playstation 2.

Answer: Half Human. Half Demon. Pure Vengance.

'Let's rock baby!' was the tagline for "Devil May Cry 2" while the others were my own made up taglines. This was a line used many times for "Devil May Cry" advertising.

Answer: Demonic Knight

Virgil is Dante's brother's real name while Nelo Angelo is the name he is referred by in the enemy guide. Before your final confrontation with Virgil he is called a man with guts and honour.

Answer: Eight

The countries it was released in were Canada, Japan, USA, France, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. South Korea was the only country not to get the game in 2001.

Answer: Canada and Japan

In Canada and Japan it was released on 23 August 2001, in the USA it was released on 17 October 2001, UK and France both got it on 7 December 2001. South Korea got it on 22 February 2002 making them only the second Asian country to have "Devil May Cry" avalable.

7. How many characters appear or are heard in "Devil May Cry"?

Answer: Eleven

The ten characters who appear are Dante the hero, Trish the love interest, Dante's Mother can be heard at points in the game, Vergil (Dante's evil twin), Mundus the most powerful of all demons, Griffin and the phantom servents of Mundus. There is young Dante and Vergil who are heard when Virgil is killed and there is a narrator who is heard at the beginning of the game. Last but not least Sparda!

8. How many melee weapons are available in "Devil May Cry"?

Answer: Four

The melee weapons that you collect are the Force Edge that you start with, Alastor which is collected shortly after starting the game, Ifrit that is collected a while after that and Sparda which is gained at the end of the game. Sadly you lose Sparda at the end of the game.

9. How do you know Trish is human at the end of "Devil May Cry"?

Answer: She cries

It is known that Trish is a human at the end when Dante states devils cannot cry. Even though she does protect Dante this never proves she turns human.

10. Does Sparda the sword have Devil tigger abilites in "Devil May Cry" before you fight Mundus?

Answer: No

The Sparda sword does not gain devil trigger abilites until you fight Mundus. After the fight with Mundus you can no longer use Sparda as you leave it with Trish.
