Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Markarth. This involves you entering an Abandoned house in Markarth and killing, due to the evil Daedric Prince Molag Bol asking you kill Logrolf who initially asks you to investigate the house with him. The mace is found at the base of the house an is only approachable when you have killed Logrolf.
Honeyside. You are able to purchase the house from the Steward of Riften, and in doing so you are then able to become Thane of Riften after helping the towns people with quests or investing in their businesses. It costs 8,000 Gold to purchase, excluding upgrades.
Northwatch Keep. He is held by the Thalmor and is found cuffed to a wall inside the keep. The quest for this is called "Missing in Action", and can be started through Avulstein, his brother in Whiterun. Although it is not official, Thorald states that he will join the Stormcloaks.
Morthal. During the quest "Laid to Rest" you are required to sneak into the basement and steal her journal containing quest information. You are then able to kill the Vampire leader who bit Alva.
Elven. It can be used to make Elven Weapons too. It can be made from Moonstone Ore found in various mines throughout "Skyrim". Depending on your smithing skill, weapons and armour can be made stronger.
Sky Haven Temple. During the appropriately named quest "Alduin's Wall" you travel with Esbern and Delphine to Sky Haven Temple to gain knowledge about how to defeat Alduin. You learn that a new shout is required to defeat him.
Western Watchtower. Just outside Whiterun, a Dragon called "Mirmulnir" will attack you and some Whiterun guards during a quest. Although you first see a Dragon at Helgen, you are not given the chance to engage combat with it.
Nord. She is a Nord from Whiterun. She can be found around near the market place just below Dragonsreach, Whiterun. She is involved in a couple of quests, one being the Daedric quest, "A Night to Remember", though both aren't a necessary part of the story.
Stormcloaks and Imperials. The Stormcloaks are led by Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak of Windhelm. The Imperials are led by General Tullius of Solitude. Windhelm and Solitude are both capturable depending on which faction you join.
Dragon. Paarthurnax mentions the Dovah many times when you meet the allied Dragon at High Hrothgar mountain peak when asking how to acquire the Dragonrend shout. Paarhurnax doesn't teach you the Dragonrend shout as he himself cannot learn it. He teaches you a basic shout instead and asks you to test your Thu'um against his.
Farmer. Lemkil is a Widowed Nordic Male and can be found on his own farm called Lemkil's Farmhouse.
You can earn money from him by selling wheat to him.
When you talk to Lemkil he'll seem very angry about his two daughters, Sissel and Britte. He states that he does all the work and they do nothing.
However, if you then talk to Sissel she reveals that she gets beaten by both her sister and father.
Solitude. Aia is a Imperial female Bard. She lives in Solitude and attends the Bards College. If you speak to her tutor Pantea, she reveals that Aia is the only student with real talent.
She cannot be a follower and isn't at all involved in triggering any quests. She does however participate in the quest Tending the flames by cheering.
Briehl. Briehl is a Male Nordic Warrior Priest that lives in Riften. He works at the temple of Mara, spreading love throughout Skyrim. He never leaves the temple and runs it along with Redguard Male Priest Maramal and Dark Elf Female Priest Dinya Balu.
The Temple holds wedding ceremonies and is the location of the Dragonborns wedding, should they marry.
Dinya Balu sets you on various love related quests to spread love around Skyrim.
Briehl himself isn't active in a single quest.
Taarie & Endarie. Taarie and Endarie are both Altmer sisters who own the clothing store Radiant Raiment in Solitude.
Taarie can also be found in the previous title "The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion".
You can sell Jewellery and Clothes only to the sisters unless you have the Speech Perk with allows you to sell anything to any merchant.
Debauchery. Sanguine or Sam Guevenne as his Breton form is known is actually a Daedric Lord. His Breton form can be encountered in one of five taverns around in Skryim. Which he appears in is entirely random.
After you meet Sam Guevenne in a tavern, he will challenge you to a drinking contest. Should you accept you'll trigger the quest A Night to Remember.
The quest leads you all over the world of Skyrim as you try to remember what happened the night before with Sam.
Ultimately the reward for the quest is the Rose of Sanguine.
Breton. Arniel Gane is a Mage/Necromancer from the College of Winterhold.
He triggers two quests and can initially be encountered outside "Saarthal" for the quest Under Saarthal which is a main quest for the College of Winterhold faction.
He also triggers Arniel's Endeavour, which involves four parts.
Upon completing this quest Arniel disappears from the game, not to be seen in human form again. However, you can still see him in a shade form as a reward for the quest is a Summon Arniel Shade spell, in which his shadow will fight along side you for sixty seconds.
Dawnstar. Seren is a Redguard that runs a Blacksmith store and lives with her Nordic husband Rustleif. When you engage with her she states that she is pregnant and that the child will embrace both Nordic and Redguard cultures.
Both herself and Rustleif are not essential NPCs which means if they are killed, then the Blacksmith in Dawnstar becomes unused.
Companions. Ria can be found in and around Jorrvaskr. However it is known that once The Companions questline has been fully completed she can occasionally be spotted outside in the open killing wild beasts with Vilkas.
She bares heavy armour and uses a one handed style combat and can become a follower if you join the Companions.
She doesn't trigger any quests but is able to be married by the Dragonborn.
Cicero. Cicero can be first encountered just outside Loreius Farm where he is having trouble with one of his wheels on his cart. If you speak with him it will trigger the quest Delayed Burial.
His character is somewhat untoward, has a strange sense of humour and high pitched voice.
Cicero wears a full jester outfit and is trained in the art of sneak. The game later reveals that he is a member of the notorious Dark Brotherhood. However, if you do not start or progress far enough into the faction quests this is not revealed to you.
Towards the end you are given a chance to kill or spare Cicero after he loses it and attacks the other members in the Sanctuary.
If you spare him, he can become a follower.
Lydia. Lydia is one of the first followers that you can acquire in the game when you follow the main story line.
She initially becomes equipped with steel armour, a steel sword and a steel shield.
She can be found in the Breezehome if you purchase it, however if you do not own it she will be found in Dragonsreach.
What is the name of the great dragon you must defeat in order to free the land from his terrible power? | Adventures in Skyrim

Alduin. To find him, you must enter the mystical realm of Sovngarde. There, you will meet heroes who have departed this life. If you defeat Alduin, the so-called 'main quest line' is complete, but there are many side quests, dozens of achievements to be earned, and a beautiful landscape which may still be explored. Enjoy!
Potions appear throughout the game, and may be used to increase your strength, health and other functions. What skill do you need to improve in order to make better potions? | Adventures in Skyrim

Alchemy. There are alchemist's tables scattered all over Skyrim. You may use these tables for free. Potions may come in handy during a difficult battle. Potions may also be sold for cash in some stores.
Outside the city of Solitude, there is a large port. The headquarters of a particular agency is located there. What is it called? | Adventures in Skyrim

The East Empire Company Warehouse. This area is marked on your map by an anchor. The interior contains a marina and storage areas, and is patrolled by guards. Be careful, as you may be stopped or arrested if caught here at the wrong time.
You will spend much of the game doing tasks or going on quests. On completion of some goals, you may receive special items as rewards. After the quest "The Only Cure", what do you get in return? | Adventures in Skyrim
|
A shield called Spellbreaker. In "The Only Cure", you bring plants and herbs to a Khajit named Kesh the Clean. He makes incense, which enables you to contact a deity called Peyrite. You then head to a place called Bthardamz, where a mage named Orchendor dwells in the depths. If you beat him and go back to meet Kesh, you receive Spellbreaker. This shield is highly effective against blasts of magic.
Skyrim is divided into a number of regions, called holds. What is the title of the head of government in a hold? | Adventures in Skyrim
|
Jarl. "Jarl" is pronounced "yarl," and is similar to the word "earl". There is a High King of the country as well. The jarls answer to him.
The game opens with the shocking execution of a prisoner in the town of Helgen. Believe it or not, something worse happens next. What is it? | Adventures in Skyrim
|
A dragon attacks the town. Your character starts out as someone who was next in line to be executed. However, the dragon attack causes the soldiers to lose track of you, and you get a chance to run away. You may choose the identity of your character from one of several types (Orcs, Nords, etc.) If you escape the town, you then begin your travels as a free individual.
Northwatch Keep. You fight in Fort Greenwall when trying to gain control of the Rift. You fight Whitrun or defend Whitrun in a battle and you kill General Tullius in Castle Dour. Northwatch Keep is a Thalmor stronghold you go to to free one of the Grey-Manes, a clan found in Whiterun.
An ice-wraith.. You kill the ice-wraith at Serpent Stone Island, better know as the Serpent Stone. You are also given a potion and three poisons. The potion gives you frost resistance and the poisons do simply heavy damage.
Fort Kastav. Fort Greymoor is in Whiterun Hold and you never go there to do civil war business. Fort Snowshod is in Hjaalmarch and Fort Dunstad is in The Pale.
Markarth. I don't think any of the stewards from the incorrect answers worship Talos. If you join the Stormcloaks, you get the blackmail the steward of Markarth and he tells you about a carriage of weapons and coin in exchange for not spilling the beans. The steward of Riften can be blackmailed, too if you join the Imperials. She supports and protects the Thieves' Guild secretly and tells you about the same king of thing for not spilling the beans.
Legate. The only General in the Imperial Legion is General Tullius. Marshals don't exist in this game and Field Commanders are the highest rank achievable for the player to get in the ranks of the Stormcloaks.
