Baby Luigi number not one!. "Not bad for a baby" is Baby Mario's phrase. The other two are phrases that Baby Mario and Baby Luigi say when they finish lower than third place.
100 cc Star Cup. The Special Cup (unlike the previous games) is locked this time. The Special Cup includes the courses Wario Colliseum, Dino Dino Jungle, Bowser's Castle, and the famous Rainbow Road.

Yes. If you didn't get this right you should be ashamed. Diddy Kong appeared in the first racing game to add the adventure mode, "Diddy Kong Racing".
11. There are 11 characters that have a track named after them. In the Mushroom Cup there is Luigi Circuit, Peach Beach, Baby Park (this includes both Baby Mario and Baby Luigi). Finally, in the Special Cup there is Wario Colliseum and Bowser's Castle.

they can use them all. All special items is a great advantage.
You can unlock them by winning star cup in mirror.
Golden Mushroom. You unlock them by beating Special Cup 100cc.
If you have the Golden Mushroom, keep pressing X or Y and you will have a huge area covered in a short time.
chain chomp. This is my favorite item. The babies are pulled around the course by chain chomp. It destroys items hit by it, flips carts over, and you don't have to steer or use the A button.
bowser shell. It is like a green shell except it flips characters if they are hit by it. It doesn't home in on people either. The user can get hit by this item too.
Three green or red shells. This is very good if you are in second place and you get three red shells. Throw them at the perfect time, and if the person is close enough to you, you probably will be in first place. It is very annoying if you are the victim of this.
heart. This item is like a shield. The next two items they run into or are thrown at them will be theirs to use.
giant banana. The giant banana is very hard to avoid when it is in the middle of the road. When hit, three more bananas are left on the road.
pink egg. It homes in the opposing pair in front of you. When it breaks, it drops three more items.
bob-omb. When the bob-omb is used, it blows up in a few seconds or if someone hits it. Anyone caught in the explosion will flip and drop all their items. This item can even hurt you.
red fireball. When used, the fireballs split up. If you get hit by one of the five fireballs, you will spin out and your rear character will be stunned for a few seconds.
Diddy Kong. Diddy Kong is just barely a lightweight character, as he gets all the benefits of being a lightweight, with some of the benefits of a middleweight. Yoshi is a light-middleweight, leaning more on the middle side. Both of the Koopas are extreme lightweights (Paratroopa is lighter than the normal Koopa Troopa), and Bowser Jr. is in the middle of the lightweight category.
Peach Beach. This pipe is only here for aesthetic value. If you drive into it, you'll get shot out the same end. This can never be used as a shortcut, since you have to turn in the wrong direction to even reach the pipe, and all it does is shoot you back onto the track. There is no item box nearby to benefit you either.
Just after the Start/Finish line. This can be a shortcut if you know what you're doing. There are a couple of sharp turns to get to the entry point, so you'll need to control your kart carefully. One benefit to this pipe is that you'll automatically get a double item box when you exit.
