Bachelorette. "Bachelorette" is the fourth track on the album "Homogenic", released in 1997. Its first words are "I'm a fountain of blood in the shape of a girl..."

Which one of the songs performed by her character Selma in "Dancer In The Dark" (2000) was nominated for an Academy Award?
I've Seen It All. "I've Seen It All", from her film "Dancer In The Dark" (an excellent movie directed by Lars Von Trier), was up for best original song in 2001, but lost to Bob Dylan's "Things Have Changed" from "Wonder Boys". She recorded this song with Radiohead's vocalist Thom Yorke in the album "Selmasongs" (2000).

Last night I listened to "Hyper-ballad", "It's Oh So Quiet", and "Army Of Me". What album did I picked up from the shell?
Post. "Post" was released in 1995 and also includes songs like "Isobel" and "Possibly Maybe".

According to the song "Heirloom" ("Vespertine"), which one of these things don't her mother and son do in her recurrent dream?
Pick up stars to close her eyes. "I have a recurrent dream. Every time I lose my voice..." it's the beggining of this great song. "Vespertine" also includes songs like "Sun In My Mouth" and "An Echo A Stain".

Listening to her album "Vespertine" I found a song that wasn't recorded in English. I looked at the CD box to know its name, but a big scratch didn't let me read it. What's the word I wasn't able to read?
Verandi. "Verandi" was recorded in Icelandic, her mother language. All of the multiple choices are from its lyrics.

It seems she loves singing to a special someone...which of these is NOT one of her songs?
Hide With Me. "Come To Me" belongs to the album "Debut" (1993). Both "Cover Me" and "I Miss You" are from "Post" (1995). I made up the other one but it sounds like right, doesn't it?

Besides being a terrific singer, Björk won the Best Actress Award in Cannes Fim Festival.
True. For her portrayal of Selma in "Dancer In The Dark" (2000) she received this award. The film's director, Lars Von Trier, won the Golden Palm that year too.

I own all of her albums and I like to put them in chronological order, but I'm a bit confused. Could you tell me the correct order for her first six albums as a solo artist?
    Debut - Post - Telegram - Homogenic - Selmasongs - Vespertine. Debut (1993), Post (1995), Telegram (1996), Homogenic (1997), Selmasongs (2000), and Vespertine (2001).

In the mid-1990s, she recorded a famous remix album made up largely of different versions of songs from her platinum selling previous album. What was it called?
Telegram. "Telegram" was released in 1996 after the success of "Post", and includes tracks like "Possibly Maybe" and "Army Of Me".

In one song from "Post" Björk says that everything is quiet, still and peacefull until...
You fall in love. "It's Oh So Quiet" is included in "Post" and it starts with "shhhh shhhh". Just like every other song, this one allows Björk to play with emotions and transmit her unique energy.

After I finished listening to "Vespertine", I picked up the "Homogenic" album and started to enjoy it. The first words I heard were "if travel is searching and home has been found..." What's the first song on this CD?
Hunter. All of the songs belong to "Homogenic" (1997). Track 1: Hunter Track 3: Unravel Track 7: Immature Track 8: Alarm Call

What a coincidence!..This is the name of a famous cartoon dog, a planet, and also one of Björk's songs (they're not related at all). Do you know what I'm talking about?
Pluto. "Pluto" is inclued in "Homogenic" and it starts with "Excuse me, but I have to explode..."

According to "Human Behaviour" ("Debut"), if you get close to a human and human behaviour, you must be ready to...
Get confused. "Human Behaviour" is one of the songs that made Björk a well- recognized artist in the music world, because it's included on her first solo album, "Debut".

Before she started her solo career she was the voice of a quite special band in her native country. They made very good music and they were called...
Sugarcubes. With a really young Björk, Sugarcubes made great songs like "Birthday", "Regina", and "Water". When they were offered to make an international successful career, they decided to break up the band. They said that they'd rather to stay friends than earning lots of money selling themselves as artists.

What country is talented and beautiful Björk from?
Iceland. She was born in Iceland and started her musical career there when she was really young in some bands. Hope you enjoyed the quiz!
