    Nineveh. The Book of Nahum (destruction), the Book of Jonah (God's message), and Genesis 9:10-12 (establishment) tell of Nineveh's beginning through to its end.

    Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia comes from the Greek "between the rivers." The Jewish patriarchs originated from Mesopotamia. Genesis 11:31-12:4 and 24:10 hold these stories.

What was the name of the Syrian general who was cured of leprosy after completion of Elisha's directions?
    Naaman. Naaman finally followed Elisha's instructions and was healed of his leprosy. The complete story of Naaman's initial reluctance and then conversion can be found in 2 Kings 5.

Which Gospel writer was a companion to both Peter and Paul?
    Mark. Mark traveled with Barnabas and Paul on their first missionary journey. Mark was with Peter in Rome. Acts 14:37-40 tells of an argument between Paul and Barnabas about Mark. Acts 12:12 tells how Peter went to Mark's mother's house.

"Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Which of Jesus' Disciples was quoted as saying this in John 1:46?
    Nathanael. John 1:45-46 says, "Philip found Nathanael and said to him, 'We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote - Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.' And Nathanael said to him, 'Can anything good come out of Nazareth?' Philip said to him, 'Come and see.'"
