Special Sub-Topic: Bioshocked!
|Although you aren't given too much info on your character when you first start the game you do get his name. What is it?|
Jack. You see his name for a brief moment on a card attached to a present which has apparently been given to him by his parents. Jack reflects on his parents and the great things he is bound to accomplish right before his flight takes a nose dive in to the Atlantic ocean.
|What comes next in this quote from the game?
"Is a man not entitled to the..."|
sweat of his brow. This is part of Rapture's creator, Andrew Ryan's, pitch on what his city below the surface of the ocean can offer potential residents over the land dwellers above. Ryan offers a society in which no one is held back by the regulations of the American government, religion or communism.
|Upon first entering the city you are contacted by a man named Atlas over a service radio. What does he want from you?|
Help him save his family. It seems that Atlas has been trying to find a way to get his wife and son out of the war ravaged city of Rapture and he needs you help to do it. They are held up in a submersible in Fontaine's Fisheries which can be reached by going through Neptune's Bounty.
|How many different kinds of splicers will you meet over the course of the game?|
Five. There are five different kinds of splicers which get stronger as you get further in to the game. Thuggish splicers wield pipes and wrenches and will try to strike you with them, Leadhead splicers shoot at you with either pistols or machine guns, Nitro splicers toss grenades and motolov cocktails, Spider splicers have hook like hands and can crawl along the ceiling and toss daggers at you and Houdini splicers can teleport around the room while shooting off fire or ice plasmid blasts.
|There are two different kinds of big daddies. (not including the elite variants)|
t. Your first encounter with a Big Daddy will be the Bouncer which has a large drill for a hand and will charge at you when angered and try to smash you to death. When you get to the third level, Neptune's Bounty, you will meet your first Rosie which will fire at you with it's Rivet gun while also launching proximity mines your way. Both variations have elite versions later on in the game and all protect the Little Sisters.
|Which of these aren't a type of ammo for the chemical thrower?|
Sulfuric Acid. Although it would have been awesome to melt the faces of splicers off with a nice shot of sulfuric acid, it is not one of the ammo types you can use with this intriguing weapon. Electric Gel works wonders on Big Daddies to the point where it's a pretty cheap tactic when dealing with the hulking dive suits.
|How do you get the Hypnotize Big Daddy plasmid?|
Rescue the Little Sisters. The Hypnotize Big Daddy plasmid will only be available if you choose to rescue a set amount of Little Sisters rather then harvest them. Once every few Little Sister's you rescue, they will leave you a gift which will contain 200 adam and possibly a new plasmid such as Hypnotize Big Daddy.
|Who refers to you as "little moth"?|
Sander Cohen. When you past through Fort Frolic on your way to Andrew Ryan's office you find yourself trapped in a little errand mission for the very disturbed and artistically inclined Sander Cohen. He wants you to search out three men who have betrayed him in the past, kill them, snap a photo of their corpse, then display it in his latest masterpiece.
|"...go get stepped on by a Big Daddy?"
How does this quote begin?|
Would you kindly. If you have progressed far enough in the game then those first three words should be pretty familiar to you by now. Frank Fontaine doesn't seem too worried when you don't budge though, not with Code Yellow in his back pocket which, when said, reduces your maximum health.
|How many audio diaries are hidden in Rapture?|
122. If you want the Historian achievement in the Xbox 360 version of the game then your going to have to find all 122 diaries which scattered throughout the game. Some diaries will only be available to you the first time you pass through an area such as the first level and Andrew Ryan's office so make sure have all the diaries in those two places as you will not be able to go back for them. The other levels will allow you to return and search for missed diaries.
