What breed am I? I am usually black I have feathers I'm not allowed to have a marking bigger than a five cent piece

Friesian. Friesians are mostly black and are not allowed to be used for breeding if they have a marking bigger than a five cent piece.

What breed am I? I am used for showing. I have a dished face. My name includes part of a country's name found in the Middle East.

Arabian. Many desert tribes believed this horse was a gift from God.

Thoroughbred. Thoroughbreds are race horses and are more well known than many other breeds of horses. If trained correctly they can really bring in the cash!

Shetland pony. Shetland ponies are very popular among families. Some are so small that even a dog could look down on them!

Clydesdale. Before machines were invented, Clydesdales were used for everything. Nowadays all machines are measured in 'horse power'.

I am sometimes dappled. I am sometimes covered with spots. I am of colour. What type of horse am I?

Appaloosa. The Appaloosa was selectively type of horse bred by the Native Americans and thanks to them we have the modern Appaloosa.

What breed am I? I originate in England I am always the same colour I am usually between 16.0 and 16.2 hh

Cleveland Bay. The Cleveland Bay has been successfully bred to the Thoroughbred to create very good show horses. The Cleveland Bays can also be used for coach pulling.

What breed am I? I am used for difficult maneuvers The tallest I can get is 16 hh I am born black or grey and usually turn 'white' by the time I am 5 or 6

Lipizzan. The Lipizzan is not fully grown until it is about seven years of age and is late maturing. They can live for up to 35 years old. Lipizzans aren't truly white. No horse is. A horse can only be called white if it is born white which is very rare.

What breed am I? I am often called the 'only true wild horse' I was almost hunted to extinction I am typically between 12 and 14 hh

Przewalski. As of January 1998 only 60 Przewalski horses lived in the wild.

Chincoteague Pony. Chincoteague ponies are known as a hybrid with many looking different from each other.
