    Joe Bunker. Joe Bunker organizes pizza parties at the drop of a hat, owns a music player that plays only John Philip Sousa marches, and plays the piano every chance he gets.

Every bookstore needs a bibliocat, don't they? The Pirate's Chest has an orange marmalade that fits the bill. What is his name?
    Dundee. Winston owned Edd Smith. Brutus, along with Catta, owns Polly. Toulouse owns Arch and Mildred Riker.

At the opening of the new bookstore, who was coerced into cutting the ribbon?
    Scott Gippel. Scott Gippel arrived wearing greasy coveralls. Mayor Amanda Goodwinter arrived wearing a golf hat and refused to cut the ribbon! Iris Cobb loved pink and was Qwill's housekeeper. Polly Duncan was the "chief woman" in Qwill's life.

Now for more bananas: who does Koko trip up with a banana peel on the steps in the barn?
    Alden Wade. Judd Amhurst was the man everyone thought Violet would marry, not Judd. Kip MacDiarmid was editor-in-chief of the 'Lockmaster Ledger'. Edd Smith was the owner of Edd's Place.

Who was suspected, by Wesley, of the sniping incident in Lockmaster and who gave Ronnie pills to keep him awake for the long drive back and forth from Lockmaster?
    Alden Wade. G. Allen Barter was Qwill's lawyer and the cat's Uncle George. George Breze was one of the many nefarious characters in Moose County. Lyle Compton was the superintendent, and always crabby.
