Andrew. Andrew was ranked #7 on the list... Andrew Lloyd Webber is world famous for his many musicals, incluing: "Cats", "Phantom Of The Opera" and "Jesus Christ Superstar"... Prince Andrew is fourth in line for the crown, just behind "the heir and the spare". "A" was tied with "C" as the second most popular initial for boys names. There were twelve names for each. In addition to Andrew; Anthony ranked #11, followed by: Alexander #20, Austin #25, Aaron #42, Adam #53, Angel #54, Alex #61, Adrian #75, Alejandro #85, Antonio #86, and Aidan #88.

Brian/Bryan presents the only showing of the same name appearing in separate spellings on this popularity chart. The list of most popular girl's names, however, includes many such examples.

Victor and William. Victor is the only "V" name, and William is the only "W" name to appear on the list... Victor, as in "RCA Victor Records", and the famous nineteenth century writer, Victor Hugo appears to be a relative newcomer on the popularity charts... William, however, is still going strong in the #10 position. Way back in 1875, it was ranked #1. It remained among the top 10 throughout most of the twentieth century, and continues its popularity in the early twenty-first century as well.

Xavier. Xavier, which appears in the #95 position, stands alone in the "X" category... Xavier Roberts' given name was indirectly responsible for his success. As a child, his (then) unusual name provoked ridicule among his classmates in the Appalachian Mountain region of North Georgia, causing him to become a loner, who spent long hours with his mother, a local crafter and quilter. He discovered a "soft sculpture" technique in a nineteenth century German crafts book, which inspired him to experiment with folk art, which led to the birth of his famous "Cabbage Patch Kids". The originals eventually led to an explosive mass marketing of his darling little adoptable "babies" that were so popular in the early 1980s, and are still being manufactured today.

These include Joseph, William, John, and Robert, to name a few. The use of surnames as first names; such as Blake, Tyler and Jackson (among many others) is also prominent. Several biblical names like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Noah have also emerged; as well as many ethnic names...
