It is said that Axl Rose was inspired to write the song after a homeless man in New York City had tried to scare him and Slash by yelling at them, "You know where you are? You're in the jungle baby and you're gonna die!"

    I Wanna Be Sedated & I want to be sedated. "I Wanna Be Sedated" is from the Ramones' 1978 album "Road to Ruin". The song was written by Joey Ramone while he was really bored while on tour in London, hence the line "there's nothing to do, nowhere to go".

    American Woman. "American Woman" was the title track from a 1970 album by The Guess Who. The lyrics were thought to be anti-American and the band was asked by Pat Nixon not to play the song when they performed at the White House. The most well-known cover version of "American Woman" is Lenny Kravitz's, which he recorded in 1999 for the soundtrack to "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me".

    Give Peace A Chance. "Give Peace a Chance" was originally released as a 1969 single by John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band. The song was also originally credited to Lennon-McCartney, but later releases credit solely John Lennon. The title and main lyric come from a comment made by John during his and Yoko's 1969 Bed-In in Amsterdam. When asked by a reporter what they were trying to do, John replied "All we are saying is give peace a chance".

    Purple Haze. "Purple Haze" was recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience in 1967 and appears on the album "Are You Experienced?" Well known for the famous guitar lick, in 2005, "Q" magazine ranked "Purple Haze" number one on its list of "100 Greatest Guitar Tracks".
