Fun Trivia: T : The Underland Chronicles

Special Sub-Topic: Gregor and the Code of Claw

The story begins with Gregor reading a prophecy, the last prophecy, saying he the warrior is going to be killed. Which prophecy is this?

The Prophecy of Time. The Prophecy of Secrets is from "Gregor and the Marks of Secret." The Prophecy of Bane is from "Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane." The Prophecy of Blood is from "Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods."

Did Gregor have to go on a quest this time to fulfill the prophecy?
No. No, this time Gregor only had to fight in the war to fulfill the part of the prophecy he was supposed to fulfill and the Code of Claw was cracked in the code room at the palace.

In this book, Gregor disobeys Solevet quite a lot. What skill did Gregor master when Solovet threw him in the dungeon?
Echolocation. In the dungeon, it was pitch black, and Gregor somehow finally managed to use echolocation down there. Most of the time he practices swordfighting while using echolocation.

In the Prophecy of Time, a princess is needed to crack the Code of Claw, but who is the princess?
Lizzie. Lizzie is technically a princess, because the crawlers call Boots a princess so Lizzie's a princess too. They discover Lizzie is the princess when she solves a logic puzzle Ripred gave her, making her the one who would be able to help the code team.

In the book, Gregor is rescued from the dungeon by Nerissa, but Solovet wants to send him back down. But, she changes her mind after Ripred and Mareth tell her he is in love with someone. Whom is he in love with?
Luxa. He falls in love with Luxa in "Gregor and the Marks of Secret". He always keeps a picture of them dancing together in one of his pockets. Near the middle of the book, we learn that Luxa loves Gregor too.

Gregor discovers that Bartholomew of Sandwich did something horrible to the diggers to win a war. What did he do?
Poisoned the diggers' water. He killed them just because he wanted their land for Regalia. There were a few diggers left, and they really wanted to kill the Regalians. Pouring boiling oil on creatures is a tactic for war against the rats though.

In this book, we discover Ripred doesn't believe in the prophecies at all! What prophecy does he fulfill though?
The Peacemaker. Here is the prophecy: "On Soft Feet, By None Detected Dealing Death, By Most Rejected Killed by Claw, Since Resurrected Finally, They Intersected Two Lines Meet, One Unexpected" Ripred takes advantage of the fact that most people believe in the prophecies. The first three lines he automatically fits. But for the two intersecting lines, it speaks of scars one given to him by Solovet and one by himself, so they would think of him as the peacemaker.

The prophecy is fulfilled! The monster's blood is spilled. But, the warrior isn't killed. Someone very close to the warrior is, though. Who dies helping Gregor kill the Bane?
Ares. Ares dies because right before Gregor kills the Bane, the Bane bites Ares' tongue off. Gregor is not the same once Ares dies, and is a bit depressed.

In the book, to finally make peace with the gnawers, Luxa bonds with one of them. Which gnawer is Luxa bonded to?
Ripred. Ripred is designated to represent the gnawers in their post-war meeting with the humans. Ripred and Luxa bond, vowing to protect each other with their lives. Twirltongue is the evil adviser to the Bane who gave him all his ideas he was going to be king. Twitchtip is the scent seer from "Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane." Lapblood is one of the gnawers who went on the quest in "Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods."

Well, the end had to come. Gregor and his family are moving. Where are they moving to?
Virginia. They are moving there because Gregor's mom wants them to live away from the Underland. Even though this is supposedly the last book, the ending hinted at a sequel. I hope you liked my quiz. Bye!
