Answer: Paradise

Paradise was never a location for the comic duo. The destinations for Hope and Crosby are (in order) Singapore, Zanzibar, Morocco, Utopia (Utopia was set in the Klondike), Rio, Bali, and Hong Kong.
2. Dorothy Lamour played the leading lady in the first six films. However in the last film, "The Road to Hong Kong", Lamour was replaced by what leading lady?

Answer: Joan Collins

Dorothy Lamour does appear, however, and just in time to save Hope and Crosby, who are running from killers who want the rocket formula stored in Bob's head.

In "The Road to Morocco" Hope and Crosby play two adventurers swept ashore by a shipwreck. Destitute and in need of funds, Bing hits upon a scheme where he sells Bob to Dorothy Lamour. The camel adds a bit of humor with his line and his unscripted entrance in which, while the cameras are rolling, he licks Bob and Bing. The director decided to leave the shot in.

Bob also gets the girl in the "Road to Morocco," it just isn't Dorothy.

The 1952 film "The Road to Bali" was made in color. In the film Bob and Bing flee Melbourne to avoid marriage proposals. Landing in Bali they sign on as divers and help discover treasure and save Dorothy.

The Wiere brothers (Harry, Herbert and Sylvester) came to America from Germany in the late thirties. They were a talented team of singers, musicians, dancers, and acrobats. In "The Road to Rio" they play Brazilian musicians who Bing and Bob are are trying to pass off as Americans, despite the fact that the three cannot speak English.
8. In "The Road to Zanzibar" Bob and Bing are con men. What is their act?

Answer: human cannon ball

Later their act would include Bob taking electrical volts and fighting an octopus. Chuck Reardon (Bing) is the brains and Hubert 'Fearless' Frazer (Bob)does all the work. He is the one who is supposedly shot out of the cannon. However, something always goes wrong and when their aim goes astray they flee to Africa where they get involved with Dorothy, her friend Julia (Una Merkel) and a diamond mine.

Answer: Robert Benchley

Robert Benchley (and Parker, Woollcott, and Kaufman) was a part of the Algonquin Round Table, a social group of writers and humorists (whose members also included Harpo Marx) who met for lunch regularly at the Algonquin hotel. Benchley appears uncredited in "The Road to Utopia" as the on-screen narrator.

The actor, writer, and humorist appeared in many films in the late thirties and forties including "The Major and the Minor", "You'll Never Get Rich" and Alfred Hitchcock's "The Foreign Correspondent". Benchley was known for his drinking, and as a writer on the wonders of modern life.

He also wrote his own lines in "The Foreign Correspondent". Benchley is the grandfather of Peter Benchley, the author of "Jaws".
