In the King James Version, how does God refer to himself in the Book of Exodus?

    I Am. God told Moses to say that "I AM" sent Moses to the children of Israel. (Exodus 3:14) Interestingly, Jesus also used that term in John 8:58. He told the Jews "Before Abraham was, I Am."

After the Israelites first reached the Promised Land, they were ruled by judges. Which of these was a judge?
    Ibzan. According to Judges 12:8,9, Ibzan judged for seven years. It's hard to tell how he had time for this since he had thirty sons and thirty daughters.

Who was the first son of Abraham?
    Ishmael. Isaac was Abraham's second son. God promised Abraham and Sarah a child. When they were very old and still had not received their promised child, Sarah decided to help God by providing her handmaiden Hagar to Abraham. Hagar had a son called Ishmael. You find this story in Genesis 16.

Which of these was one of Jacob's twelve sons?
    Issachar. Issachar was Jacob's fifth son (Genesis 30:17,18). He was the son of Leah and Jacob.

Speaking of Jacob and his twelve sons, Jacob loved Joseph the most and provided him a coat of many colors. This caused his brothers to be jealous. They sold him as a slave and reported him dead to Jacob. Who purchased Joseph as a slave?
    Ishmaelites. Genesis 37:25-28. The Ishmaelites sold him to Potiphar in Egypt. (Genesis 39:1) Further chapters in Genesis report Joseph's rise to power in Egypt. He was eventually able to save his family and be reunited with them during a famine.

Who was Jacob's father?
    Isaac. Isaac and Rebekah had twin sons, Esau and Jacob. (Genesis 25:19-26) Isaac favored Esau while Rebekah favored Jacob.

One last question about Jacob: Many people in the Bible had their name changed in honor of a change of direction. Saul was renamed Paul, Abram was renamed Abraham. What was Jacob's name changed to?
    Israel. Genesis 32:28. Jacob's name was changed just after he wrestled with the angel. (See Genesis 32)

Which prophet had his lips touched with a live coal?
    Isaiah. A seraphim performed this act of cleansing after Isaiah admitted having unclean lips. (Isaiah 6:5-7)

King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about a figure that had different body parts made of different elements. What were the legs made of?
    Iron. This dream terrified King Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel was able not only to interpret the dream, but to actually tell the king what the dream was. You'll find this amazing story in Daniel 2.

Which of these was a city in Asia minor, visited by Paul?
    Iconium. Acts 13:51. Illyricum was also visited by Paul (Romans 15:19), but it was in Europe. Idalah was a city in Zebulun's portion of the Promised Land (Joshua 19:15) I made up the name "Isbon".
