    Boston. The Braves had been a National League fixture in Boston from 1876 until 1952, winning the World Series in 1914. But with falling attendances in a city they shared with the Red Sox, the team owners, the Perini Brothers, decided on a move to pastures new in Wisconsin.

Which stadium did the Braves call home during their tenure in Milwaukee?
    County Stadium. County Stadium was also home to the expansion Milwaukee Brewers from 1970-2000. The Brewers moved in to Miller Park in 2001; Braves Field was the home of the Boston Braves prior to their move to Milwaukee; Lloyd Street Park was the home of the original Milwaukee Brewers of the American League in 1901, their only season in Wisconsin before relocating to St Louis and becoming the Browns.
