    The Eagles. All three have recorded the song "Louie, Louie".

Duets.
    Alanis Morisette. All three have recorded a song with Peter Gabriel.

    Oingo Boingo. All have a song with "monkey" in its title: Peter Gabriel - "Shock the Monkey"; Beastie Boys - "Brass Monkey"; The Pixies - "Monkey Gone to Heaven".

Album title.
    The Clash. All three have an album title that is a color: Jon Spencer - "Orange"; R.E.M. - "Green"; Stone Temple Pilots - "Purple".

Singers.
    The Specials. All have female lead singers. If you picked the Specials as one of the girl groups, the Special A.K.A. had Rhoda from the Bodysnatchers sing some lead after Terry and Neville left, but not the Specials!

    Lady Pank. All three are from Germany, while Lady Pank was from Poland.

    Elvis Costello. All three have had songs "covered" by the fabulous band Dread Zeppelin.

Cartoons.
    Live. All have tracks on the CD "Saturday Morning", a tribute to Saturday Morning cartoons. Liz Phair does "The Banana Splits", The Butthole Surfers do "Underdog", and the Ramones do "Spiderman".

Manager.
    Thompson Twins. All three were managed at one time by Gary Kurfirst.

Tour.
    Danny Elfman. All three started a tour/music festival: Sarah McLachlan started Lilith Fair, Peter Gabriel started WOMAD, and Perry Farrell founded Lollapalooza.

Part in the band.
    Ted Falconi. All three were lead singers of their bands, which were part of the California hard core punk scene: Keith was lead singer of The Circle Jerks (and Black Flag), Henry Rollins headed Black Flag, and Jello Biafra was lead singer for the Dead Kennedys. Ted Falconi was the guitarist for the great band, Flipper.
