Yepremian was a Miami Dolphin in 1971, and was there to experience the Dolphins' undefeated season in 1972, going all the way to the Super Bowl crown.
2. Who was the first NFL head coach to win the Coach of the Year Award twice?

Answer: Andy Reid

The NFL Coach of the Year Award is actually named the "Earle 'Greasy' Neale Award". It was first presented in 1989 to Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Reid won his first in 2000 with the Philadelphia Eagles, then again in 2004 with the Eagles. Tony Dungee was the next coach to win it twice. Tony did it in 1997 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, then again with the Colts in 2005.
3. The Associated Press began presentations of the NFL MVP Award in 1957. Which running back was the first recipient of the award?

Answer: Jim Brown

Brown was a well-documented Cleveland Brown in his nine seasons from 1957-1965. Jim led the league in every season of play except for 1962. He won the MVP Award three times in his nine seasons also. Brown retired with 12,312 rushing yards, averaging 1368 yards per season overall.

Answer: Bill Kenney

Kenney was drafted out of Northern Colorado in the 12th and final round (333rd overall) of the 1978 NFL Draft. Initially drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1978, Bill would play in the NFL in 1980 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played all his nine seasons with the Chiefs, being their number one quarterback for many seasons. Kenney was a Pro Bowl selection in 1983 while leading the league in pass completions.

He retired in 1988.
5. The NFC Player of the Year Award ran from 1970-1996 before it was discontinued. The final presentation went to two players. One was quarterback Brett Favre of the Packers, and which Carolina Panther linebacker?

Answer: Kevin Greene

Favre won the award for the second time, the first being in the previous season of 1995. Greene was most noted as a Rams linebacker from 1985-1992. After three seasons with the Steelers, he became a Panther in 1996 when he won the award, then retired in 1999 after 15 seasons. San Francisco 49er quarterback John Brodie was the first recipient of the award in 1970. Mike Singletary was the only three-time recipient of the award and retired in 1992.

The others were never in the position to win the award. Quarterback Chad Pennington was drafted by the Jets in the first round in 2000. He had a roller coaster career which was clouded with injuries. Chad won the award the first time in the Jets' 2006 season, then won it again with the Dolphins in 2008.

The first recipient of the award was quarterback Earl Morrall. Earl made his name with the Baltimore Colts, and won the award with the 1972 undefeated Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins.

Marino and Bradshaw won the award once each, and Rice never won it. Manning won the MVP awards with the Indianapolis Colts in 2003, sharing the award with Steve McNair of the Titans. Peyton's second came in 2004, then 2008 and 2009. Peyton is the brother of fellow quarterback Eli Manning, and son of former Saints quarterback Archie Manning.
