The others listed were not running backs. Campbell also played two seasons with the New Orleans Saints, scoring only one touchdown. He retired in 1985 with over 10,000 total yards. He also endorsed Skoal chewing tobacco in his commercials.

Payton came out of Jackson State, and played for Chicago from 1975-1987. 1977 was Payton's greatest season, rushing for 1875 yards and 14 touchdowns. He retired with the most rushing yardage in NFL history, then Emmitt Smith of the Cowboys later broke his record.

The others were not kickers. Stenerud was a Montana State graduate, and played in six Pro Bowls, including being named Outstanding Offensive Player in the 1972 Pro Bowl. He kicked 17 field goals over 50 yards in his great career. Stenerud also kicked for the Packers and Vikings near the end of his career. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991.
