A Newbridge No 8 studying dental surgery at Durham University, played his first game for England against Wales on January 16th 1960. Who was it?

    Derek Morgan. Derek Morgan continued to learn his craft as a player in Wales, but playing International Rugby for England. After retiring as a player he became a Selector for many seasons.

After losing the opening match in the Five Nations against England, Wales made six changes. Newport supplied the entire back row. Who replaced Haydn Morgan as Open Side Flanker?
    G Whitson. There was also a new half back combination, with Onllwyn Brace as scrum half partnering Cliff Ashton as outside half. The last time the two had played together had been seven years earlier when Ashton had played Scrum Half and Brace Outside Half.

    Bernard Marie. This was the first time a Frenchman had charge as referee in an International Board Match.

The match was Scotland versus Wales at Murrayfield 1967. Scotland had half backs playing together for the tenth time on a winning side. Who were they?
    Chisolm/Hastie. Chisolm's dropped goal was the difference between the two sides. It was the sixth in post war matches between the two sides.

Bobby Wanbon an aggressive Number 8 scored a try on his debut against England in 1968. He later took up Rugby League. From which club did he win his first cap?
    Aberavon. During this season, Wales appointed David Nash as the first ever Rugby International Team Coach.

Wales versus France March 1968. Two brothers at half back for the French put on a commanding tactical display on an old-fashioned mud bath, and France won the match and the Grand Slam. Who were the brothers?
