    Black face. In black face for a show at the lodge, Archie rushed straight to the hospital. Not a very politically correct look for greating a new grandchild, but when was Archie ever politically correct?

A series of mishaps led up to the birth of Ritchie on "The Dick Van Dyke Show." What kind of vehicle transported Laura and Rob to the hospital?
    Laundry truck. Rob plans everything out, even sleeping in his clothes, all in preparation for the big day. Of course, nothing goes as planned, resulting in Rob wearing Buddy's pants and the couple being driven to the hospital in a laundry truck.

Georgette went into labor at Mary's apartment, eventually having the baby in Mary's bedroom. What did they name the baby?
    Mary Lou. The baby arrives before the ambulance can get to Mary's apartment. Lou and Mary do the best they can, and Ted and Georgette show their appreciation by naming the little girl after them both.

When Lori Beth gave birth on "Happy Days," Fonzie was right by her side, filling in for Ritchie. But where was Ritchie?
    Greenland. Ritchie and Ralph Malph joined the Army and were sent to Greenland. Fonzie steps in for his best friend at the wedding (held over the telephone) and then later in the delivery room. Fonzie is nervous but holds it together for Lori Beth, but when Ritchie calls at the end of the episode, the Fonz faints while trying to describe the blessed event.

The doctor who delivered Phoebe's triplets on "Friends" was obsessed with Fonzie from "Happy Days." What significance did he find in the date that Phoebe was giving birth?
    Fonzie's half-birthday. Poor Phoebe - Here she is, delivering her brother's triplets, and the doctor can't stop talking about Fonzie. The only other doctor available is so young that Phoebe refers to him as "Doogie Howser."

On "Star Trek: The Next Generation," who delivered Miles and Keiko O'Brien's daughter?
    Worf. During an emergency on the Enterprise, Worf delivered Molly O'Brien in Ten Forward. Later, when both the O'Briens and Worf were on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," Miles announced that Keiko was expecting their second child. Worf decided that he needed to make sure he was nowhere around when the baby was due.

On what holiday did Charlene give birth on "Designing Women"?
    New Year's Day. Charlene was visited by her guardian movie star, Dolly Parton, in a dream. In the dream, Dolly told Charlene that she would have her little girl on the first day of the first year of the last decade of the twentieth century.

Where was baby Andrew born on "Family Ties"?
    TV station. The Keatons were all helping during a telethon for the public television station where Steven worked. A blizzard hit, so of course Elyse went into labor and gave birth before the ambulance could arrive.

On "Murphy Brown," Murphy made it to the hospital in time to deliver her baby, but her coach almost didn't. Who coached her through this blessed event?
    Eldin Bernecky. Eldin arrives late, leaving the rest of the "FYI" crew to help Murphy through the early stages of her labor. At one point, Murphy takes a walk through the hospital halls. When a contraction hits, Miles dives between her legs to catch the baby that he thinks is about to drop.
