This classic Disney film tells the story of a boy named Mowgli who was raised by wolves and who feels at home in the jungle. He is encouraged by his animal friends to go to a man tribe where he will not fall prey to a tiger named Shere Khan. The song "The Bare Necessities" was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

The film was first titled "The Bear and the Bow". Early in the film Princess Merida and her family are attacked by a demon bear. Later on, after her mother is turned into a bear and her brothers turned into cubs as a result of a witch's curse, Princess Merida must solve a riddle to undo the curse.

Answer: Spirit Bear: The Simon Jackson Story

After the bear saves his life, Simon Jackson fights to save the habitat of the Kermode bear by founding the Spirit Bear Coalition. The Kermode bear, also known as spirit bear, can be found in parts of British Columbia. Although the Kermode is a subspecies of the American Black Bear, there are some that have white coats such as the bear in this film.

Timothy Treadwell was a controversial figure. He claimed that he felt more at home with the bears than he did with people. He lived with the bears for 13 summers at Alaska's Katmai National Park. Sometime between October 5th and 6th in 2003, Treadwell and his girlfriend, Amie Huguenard, were killed by a bear near their campsite.
