brushing his teeth. After getting out of bed he goes into the bathroom to brush his teeth and hears Bo's screams. You see his image through the open bathroom door, toothbrush in his hand and in his mouth. Merrill is startled out of his own sleep when he hears her and falls out of his bed.

Lionel. Graham told Lee he did not even care if it was Lionel, he could just have a word with him and that would be enough for Graham. He said it would sure help to the take the strangeness from it if he knew it was just Lionel and the Wolfington brothers behind it. Lee is Lionel's father and a friend of Graham's.

Crawford. Morgan stated that Dr. Crawford did not treat animals, but Graham said he'd still know what to do. I am sure he did not want to call Ray Reddy because Ray had killed his wife.

Mrs. Kendleman. She said that old Mrs. Kendleman dove for her life to avoid being hit by kids on skateboards, twisting her ankle, so she decided to go spit on the new skateboards at the store. That is why she arrived 2 hours after Graham initially called the police about the crop circles.

None of these. It was Graham cooking the chicken and hamburgers, not Merrill. But, it was Morgan that we actually see tending to the food.
Morgan: "Dad is gonna burn these again."

Blue. Bo: "It's contaminated." She hands the glass to Morgan and he says, "You don't even know what that means."
Morgan also figured that since Houdini licks his behind every day, he wouldn't mind if it was contaminated.

Theo Henry. Some of the animals had become violent and she had been out to investigate. She told Graham if any weird crop stuff had occurred there, he would have told her while she was at his place.

virus & a virus. Caroline said she did not think it was a virus, because they were acting more the way animals did when a predator was around.

Football. His yellow T-shirt had a football in the center and the words 'Division Champions' surrounding it.

Y. Bo already knows subconsciously that water is what will kill the aliens (or monsters). Bo is extremely intuitive. At the end of the movie all the glasses of water she's left sitting around come in very handy.
Graham: "What's wrong with the water next to your bed?"
Bo: "It tastes old."

Richard Kidman. He was shown to be the Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Columbia University. He explained that crop signs had first appeared in the 1970's and had died out by the 80's. They had been explained away as hoaxes. Now there were being seen all over India, and as the Hess family could attest in Pennsylvania as well.

New Town Jewelers. You can see the sign as Merrill walks away from Graham.

SFC Cunningham. He asks the man for a pamphlet to read and the man recognizes him. Lionel Prichard comes in and takes Merrill down a peg by reciting his disappointments in baseball.
|Finish this quote from Graham: "See what you have to ask yourself is, what kind of person are you? Are you the kind that sees signs, sees miracles? Or do you believe that people just get lucky? Is it possible... that there are are no ___________?"|
coincidences. All this dialogue occurs at the end as Graham sees all of the signs. When he realizes that, as Ray Reddy said, it was all meant to be. Bo was supposed to intuitively suspicious of water, Merrill was supposed to be denied his chance at a baseball career, Colleen was supposed to be on the road the night Ray fell asleep driving, and Morgan was supposed to be asthmatic.
