Tetarua. Tetarua was a small eastern state but important from the British point of view since they had an airfield which was very useful.

y. All the children had become very brown during their summer holidays. When they dressed up in the exotic clothes Fatty had bought from Morocco, they could easily pass off as foreigners.

Pip & Bets. Their cousin Ronald went to Lillington-Peterhouse school which happened to be camping in the School Camp fields. Incidentally, Ern and his twin brothers were also camping there.

Marge and Bert. Sid was very fond of the babies and would often take them for a stroll in their pram. He provided one of the biggest clues which helped to solve the mystery.

Sid. The children were very annoyed with him as he only seemed able to say 'Ar' all the time.

Tiplington Fair. The children hoped to find the twins at the baby show. Bets and Daisy were very excited when they saw twins named Margery and Robert only to be disappointed later.

Mrs. Storm. Fatty found out that the caravan had been rented by a Mrs. Storm who lived at 24, Harris Road, Maidenbridge. However this turned out to be a dead-end as the address wasn't true.

Rollo. Rollo was proud of himself for having pulled off the whole thing. He couldn't stop himself from bragging all about it to Fatty.
|What did Fatty disguise himself as when he went to meet Old Man Tallery?|
A pedlar. Fatty had a vast collection of different bottles of coloured powders and mixtures which he had kept ready as part of his disguise.
|Why had the Prince been kidnapped?|
The King's cousin wanted the throne.. The Prince didn't have any siblings. The King's cousin wanted the throne and hence he had the prince kidnapped.
