1. What are the names of the penguins?

Answer: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, Private

Julien, Maurice, Mort are the lemurs (Stevey was the gecko on King Julien's crown). Marlene is the otter, Phil and Mason are the two Chimps, Joey is the Kangaroo seen in a couple of episodes.

Do I really need to tell you who John, Paul, George and Ringo are?

Answer: None of these

In the episode "Otter Gone Wild", the penguins leave the zoo to get snow cones. Marlene joins them, and we find out that she was born in captivity and has never left the zoo.

Gloria is the hippo featured in the "Madagascar" films, and Marlene is the otter.

4. In the first episode, Maurice disappears. Which state do the penguins find him in?

They find him on a garbage barge, after he accidentally falls in a trash can. They decide they are in New Jersey after finding a number plate that reads "I [heart] BNJVI". This plate makes it back to the zoo as well, and is seen in later episodes.

Roger the alligator is hearing Marlene's snoring, and is just as afraid of the monster upstairs as Marlene is of him.

When the egg, known as Eggy, finally hatches, he leaves the penguins in a tearful state. They are unsure whether Eggy will remember them. The last scene shows "Eggy" and his siblings surrounded by a group of people. Eggy says, similar to Skipper - "cute and cuddly boys, cute and cuddly."

When the remaining three penguins "rescue" him, there is a great scene where Skipper convinces Private that he has been brainwashed. To do this, he pretty much brainwashes him...
