Pnau - "Wild Strawberries". "Wild Strawberries" was Pnau's debut to the Hottest 100, coming in at number 100. It was eclipsed the following year by "Baby" and "Embrace" coming in at 54 and 12 respectively.

Because it was technically released in 2006. "Knights of Cydonia" is from the album "Black Holes and Revelations", which was released in July 2006. Although it is a common occurrence for songs from albums which were released in the previous year, this was the first time that one has made it to number one.

Hilltop Hoods. In 2006, Hilltop Hoods reached number 77 with "Recapturing the Vibe". In 2007, the restrung version of the song reached number 26, 51 places higher than before.
