    Royce Gracie. Gracie went through three people on one night. Boxer Art Jimmerson in the first round, Shootfighter and ex-WWF wrestler Ken Shamrock in the second round, and Karate/Kickboxer Gerard Gordeux in the final.

    t. Ken competed in the tournaments at UFC's 1,3, and Ultimate Ultimate in 1996. Losing to three-time tournament champion Royce Gracie, at UFC 1, then getting injured in the other two tournaments. The tournament system is no longer used in the UFC and the last tournament was at UFC 25 in 2000.

Mark Coleman won the UFC 11 tournament, which involved 8 men but won it in a strange way, what happened?
    Coleman's opponent was in hospital instead of being able to fight. Coleman's opponent was supposed to be Scott Ferrozzo, but Ferrozzo was unable to fight after his battle with David "Tank" Abbott in the semis, and had to be taken to hospital. Abbott was available to fight the final but the UFC wouldn't let him take Coleman on, because he had lost to Ferrozzo by decision in the semi's, so Coleman was awarded the tournament title by default after fighting a total time of 3:05 minutes over two fights.

Which of the following have never competed in both the MMA, as well as the WWF?
    Kurt Angle. Shamrock has competed in both the UFC and the WWF/WWE. Severn moved to professionl wrestling after competing in the early UFC's, he now competes in pro wrestling as well as still fighting in MMA at the age of 48. Angle has never competed in MMA. Don Frye has done both but only wrestled professionally in Japan.

The UFC 3, eight man tournament was won by Steve Jennum, but what was strange about his victory?
    Steve Jennum only fought one match that night. Jennum came in as an alternate in the final after Ken Shamrock got injured in the semi final. Pre-tournament favourite Royce Gracie, also got injured in the first round, and could not fight in the semi's. This left Jennum to walk into the final completely fresh, having to face Harold Howard, defeating him in the final.

On Friday September 27, 2002, a new heavyweight champion was crowned, defeating Randy Couture for the vacant heavyweight title. Who is he?
    Ricco Rodriguez. The title was vacant after Josh Barnett defeated Randy Couture to win the title, but then was stripped because he was found positive in a test for steroids.
