Answer: A tennis ball

An object with neutral equilibrium always has its "centre of gravity" passing through its base.
If an object's "centre of gravity" wasn't to pass through its base it would simply fall over.

Answer: A moment

Moments cause a turning effect (known as a torque) if the object the force is applied to is pivoted and the force is applied at a perpendicular distance from the pivot.

Answer: Weight

Weight is not a scalar but a vector. This is defined as something with size AND direction.
Other vectors include velocity and displacement.

Likewise, in a closed system momentum (mass multiplied by velocity) is constant.
The conservation of momentum can help to explain why a trolley moves backwards when you jump off of it forwards. The momentum of the trolley will cancel out your own momentum.

This can be displayed using the sky-diver we met earlier. After falling at a constant velocity, when his parachute opens (i.e. the external force) wind resistance increases and the sky-diver will decelerate.

Yep, to find the specific heat capacity (c) of a substance we divide the amount of energy by both mass and change in temperature.
The value of c for water is 4200 Joules per kilogram per Kelvin, meaning a whopping 4200 Joules of energy are needed to heat one kilogram of water by just one Kelvin.

Answer: Charles' law

Boyle's law and the pressure law are both very similar to Charles' law.
Boyle's law states the volume of a fixed mass of gas is inversely proportional to the pressure of the gas provided temperature remains constant
The pressure law states the pressure of a fixed mass of gas is directly proportional to temperature, provided volume remains constant.
Murphy's law states if anything can go wrong it will go wrong :P
