Cosette. To Madame Thenardier "Please do not send me out alone. Not in the darkness on my own." To which Madame Thenardier responds "Enough of that! Or I'll forget to be nice."

Who said it? "I am agog! I am agast!"

Grantaire. "Is Marius in love at last? I've never seen him ohh and ahh. You talk of battles to be won, and here he comes like Don Juan. It's better than an opera!" Grantaire was making fun of Marius for being in love.

Which character says this? "Kidney of a horse. Liver of a cat."

M Thenardier. "Fillin' up the sausages with this and that." Who else but Thenardier could make such disgusting food?

Fantine. "When dreams were made and used and wasted." Fantine sings this in her solo "I Dreamed a Dream". In it she talks about how she thought her life would be, when she was young, and how different it is now.

Cosette. "So many things unclear. So many things unknown." Cosette sings this in "In My Life", and wonders about the love she's feeling.

Or maybe this? "I am reaching, but I fall, and the night is closing in."

Valjean. Not to be confused with Javert's "am reaching but I fall, and the stars are black and cold." In this line from "Valjean's Soliloquy", Valjean decides to start over and become respectable.

Who said it? "In my life, there's been no one like him anywhere, anywhere, where he is."

Eponine. "If he asked, I'd be his." In this line from "In My Life" Eponine is heartbroken as she watches Marius' reaction to her helping him find Cosette.

Name the character. "And each in your season returns and returns"

Javert. "And is always the same." From Javert's majestic solo "Stars", where he promises to track Valjean down.

Who said it? "It is time for us all to decide who we are."
