Okay, this was taken on "holiday" in Jasper (I have millions more, so beware lol). This is a Great Dane PUPPY (not fully grown yet) but still stands taller than the chair the owners are having lunch in. I quite like them without the ear cropping (which is still, for some reason, pervasive in US dog shows). In any case, I'm glad I don't have to pay for the dog food LOL!

This may be from last year, but it is definitely in a holday motif.

oooh, very nice all three of you. Ren, you have shamed me into decorating. We even bought a real tree for the first time in 25 years. Will post when it's "prefect" (giggles).

How about a Christmas cat? Iznogoud's certainly getting into the spirit of things (to the detriment of anything that shines, glitters or sparkles!!!):

The theme is "Holiday" and ren said she didn't say "Christmas" so here is the first of my holiday photos. We recently spent two weeks on holiday in South Australia and did a special Panda tour at the Adelaide zoo.

Thanks for that link, Ren. That thread was so much of fun.

I haven't been around much but dropped in to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and an even better new year. smile

I agree with you Ren, that "twelve days" thread was great. It was fun trying to be inventive for the various numbers.

However, I have thoroughly enjoyed this years holiday theme, with such a variety of festive photos to admire!

Take heed of what happens if you block Santa's access on Christmas Eve. My grandchildren have a large 'kitchen' which is in front of the non-functioning fireplace - he knocked it over! It was very funny to see the shock on their faces when they entered the room and surveyed the mess. We had to clear up before we could open parcels.

You can also see the dregs of his wine and the remains of Rudolph's carrot.
