Or is there something wrong with the date figuring out part of my brain?

It says around noon on your 9th December, which is my 10th December. It's after 4pm now on your 9th.

I think.

Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm hopeless at figuring out these differences.

Creedy, you have the times correct. It is 4:35pm FT, and 9:35am NSW 12/10.

To give you some help on time differentials:
During DST, take yours and subtract 5. Change from AM to PM or vice versa.
Not during DST, take yours and subtract 4, and also do the AM/PM thing.

Terry, the lists of the top players/scores aren't working. They're all a bit like my brain, a complete blank. wink

Something is definitely up with the top all rounder lists. They never did update. This caused the two new badgelets(GC All Rounder and GC All Rounder HC) not to be awarded for yesterday.

The badgelets don't get awarded to anyone unless they've reached Division 3. They wouldn't have been awarded yesterday at all.

Thanks, I always forget about that. But it still doesn't change the fact that the lists never did update themselves yesterday...and still haven't.

At the top of the list there's a note:

"Only players in division 3 or higher count for this list."

As no one has yet reached Div 3 there's no one to list.

Nothing wrong with the current Global Challenge but I noticed that the results in the Hall of Fame section are missing at least the last 3 Global Challenges no big deal.

My 100 bonus points for * or ** quizzes are not adding to my daily total but my graduation to the next level added 200 points. Is this a bug or is the 100 points added to your "background" cumulative points? Curious.

The 100 points is not added at Level One. It starts with Level Two.

So you're not getting any points at all from playing the GC? If you play only * and ** categories, you should have 1000 points added to your daily total for the day, not your "background" score. That's how it worked for me in the last GC: 1200 points a day, 1000 from * and ** categories, and 200 from the Brain Twist. The 100 points aren't called a "bonus" either if you look the GC page. You get 100 FT points for playing and an advancement bonus within the GC if you score at least 500 to help you move faster through the divisions.

I didn't even know it started. It says it nowhere in mobile mode, at least not that I can see.

I saw on my stats have I was back to level one, and that's how I found out.

You know what would be a really, really, really good idea if possible?

A little clock on the page to tell us when we're approaching the 130 seconds cut off point in the Hardcore quizzes.

I tried keeping a clock beside me as someone suggested, but switching focus on that to the screen and back all the time probably used up more time than flying by the seat of my pants.

Neither works successfully I might add. Ah, but that's the fun of it all smile

I just open another window, set the time for 120 seconds, and scramble to finish up when it goes off. There's one built into Google, so you can just enter "timer" as your search term.

I place my wristwatch with a sweep second hand next to the keyboard. I start each quiz when the second hand is on 20 secs past or 50 secs past 12. Hence I know my time finishes at the top or the bottom - sometimes I forget which! - not good :-)

This method allows you to see at a very quick glance how much time you have left.

I used a kitchen timer, set to go off at 120 seconds, which just gives enough time to panic!
