jules44 has won this lastest challenge ... by *far*

I estimate at least a week (that may be optimistic) before the next entrant into level 10.

Well done, jules smilee

I'd like to add my congratulations, too. Postie and I are fighting it out for second place (I'm losing, by the way) currently, but are miles behind. That's a fantastic effort, Jules.

Currently 25 Immortals in normal mode and 2 in hard mode. 3 more to go.

Only seven of the Immortals are new, though, so we have a while to go yet.

There are currently 25 new Immortals, Terry, so GC21 is nearly over.

Less than 15 minutes until this one comes to a close...

Why did this Global Challenge end about 10 minutes before noon? Usually it's not off by a minute or two from what time is shown on the FunTrivia clock.
Did it end until Global Challenge #22? If so, then what do I do about my difficult Daily Challenge that requires over 13,000 points thus meaning I have to participate in both sets?

Sorry, Buddy1, you got really unlucky here. There's no chance for you to finish that challenge - GC always closes at noon (plus or minus a few minutes, it's a manual process done by Terry).

The GC-related challenges can only be assigned while the GC is active, unfortunately for you, it was active this morning, so you could get a rare impossible challenge.

(At least it doesn't look like this could affect any badge/let attempts for you).

That is correct -- simply bad luck. GC challenges won't be issued from now until the next GC begins.

Obviously, this can't be done for this global challenge but could something be done for next time?
I don't know, but maybe something like wait until midnight to turn off the Global Challenge, although I could see how that might confuse someone if they are the 31st Immortal. Something else might be to not issue any GC challenges (or at the very least, the one I had) after the 25th (just picked a random number) Immortal--that way we don't have a situation like what I and probably others experienced.
To me, that is like getting two My Daily Quiz challenges in the same day. It seems unfair to be given a challenge in which it's impossible to complete (and of course I'm not talking about getting a challenge relating to a daily game after you've already played that daily game).
