Back in the day, my step-father played drums in a 60/40 band, and they played mainly 30s, 40s and 50s stuff. By 1972, I'd started filling in with them on guitar now and then, as well as attending their practice sessions. Well, they took great pride in 1972 in adding a current hit to their repertoire - "The Ranger's Waltz"!
