Is it 3 or 4 referrals, and do they need to earn a set amount of points for one to get the badge. Because the way it's written it seems they just have to join.

I have 4. One from 2009, and three from this month. Unless they come from the same IP but I don't see how since I told them they couldn't.

Just curious because one page says 3 (challenge page) and another page (forget where, referral page perhaps) says 4.

I got it after three. Received it after they signed up - one person didn't score any points at all.

When was that? I'm curious because mine wasn't given to me automatically; I had to ask. (It makes me wonder if there are further requirements for it, as I'm slowly trying for the next one.)

It was a little over a year ago. I've had five people sign up, and have never had a problem. I can see how it can be frustrating for others, though, as there seem to be a lot of people who have issues with the referral system.

Am I getting an answer for this, or what? Did two have the same IP, and they lied to me saying they didn't? Do I need to get more, or what?

Terry is the only one who can answer this question for you. It has only been one day, and the issue was posted on a Sunday. I am sure he will be around shortly.

Try reading one of the several other threads on this subject. You may find your answer has already been posted. I recollect using the wrong link to refer on was a major problem.

It's a little flakey because they have to sign up from the link you use. If they dont sign up, then come back on another browser or something later it doesn't count them.

The challenge is for 3 sign ups. No point requirements.

There should be a link that lists who has signed up for you.

This is the link I used:

www.funtrivia.com/?ref=Nammage

This page says I have referred 4 people:

http://www.funtrivia.com/refer_track.cfm

These are the people and dates listed (removed email names):

Users Signed Up From Your Referrals So Far

.hotmailom Shellaroo Signed up May 02 09
yahoo.com LoriPinkAngel Signed up Mar 28 14
.co.uk mrjason2 Signed up May 01 14
gmail.com bluecelt Signed up May 30 14

That's four.

So, since it didn't work I have to do it again?

I don't think so.

Check out this post from Wesley:

http://www.funtrivia.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/986064/Re:_Diplomat_Badge_Confusion#Post986116

In case the link doesn't work correctly it's post 986116. I submitted a request through the feedback section of the site (http://www.funtrivia.com/feedback.cfm) and got the badge pretty quickly.

Try that out.

I just looked at those four accounts and three of them didn't validate their email addresses. Whether that has any bearing I really couldn't say. From what I can see none of them came in on the same IP address as you unless you happened to be on their IP address at the time they registered, and that isn't something that I can check.

I didn't log in on their IP mainly based on the fact I do not know where any of them live. The three who joined in May came from http://whywontgodhealamputees.com/forums/index.php -- I had it as my signature with a countdown to how many joined. I do not know, personally, off the internet, any of those people and trust me when I say: I highly doubt any of them would know me.

The one from 2009 -- I have no clue who that is and even if I used a referral link back then.

Hi Nammage -- indeed, it all looks good on your end. Not sure why the badge didn't kick in. I just awarded it.

Thank you. My apologies if I came off rude or anything, wasn't my intention.

Barbarini, please message a copy/paste of your referrals page (http://www.funtrivia.com/refer_track.cfm) to me on the main site - there are some reasons a referral might not pick up, but I can verify them manually and issue the badge.
