Susie with her new favourite toy. It's a stuffed reindeer that she was given at Christmas. Being a soft toy I thought she'd have it in pieces in no time, but she absolutely loves it and carries it everywhere with her.

This is an SBD "Dauntless" dive bomber used in the battle of Midway Island in World War II. It hangs from the ceiling at Midway airport in Chicago. Chicago renamed its municipal airport Midway in 1949 in honor of the pilots who had trained there.

The problem with tulips is that one day they're there and the next, they've gone again. This tulip was there yesterday, now...

Her trainer/dogwalker calls her The Princess and you can see why. If another dog or a person upsets her she goes positively haughty and stalks away with her nose in the air.

Another photo taken from the train between Dresden and Prague. I think this could be Konigstein Fortress above the River Elbe.

That is indeed the Königstein Fortress, Howie - not far from Dresden and one of the largest hilltop fortresses in Europe. Good "I'm on the train!" photo and you even managed to capture the sheep!

Spring is definitely here, Chris... that's why it's got chilly again. I like the stone dogs waiting for Susie to share her cuddly toy, looks like they may have a long wait. smile

I woke up this morning to a delightful sunrise out east and this rainbow to the southwest, warning me rain is around somewhere too....

The last pic was of Hemel Hempstead... If anyone from outside the UK is planning a visit, please don't ask Satguru for directions, lol. Hemel is north-west of London, Woking south-west. Not that I'm a pedant or anything. wink

"Tap pole gently into fitting," it said on the sheet of instructions, "then tap next pole into fitting on opposite side" so I tapped gently, reached for the next pole and the first pole fell out. I tapped a bit harder the next time, reached for a new pole and the first two fell out. So I bashed them all with a hammer and this is what I got:

There's a prize for anyone who can tell me why there's a hula hoop on the ground next to my new growhouse...
