The most northerly dual carriageway in Britain ends here at the Tore Roundabout, just north of Inverness.

That silver car on the far carriageway, has just caused a minor accident by reversing on the roundabout !!

When I lived in Brighton, which come to think of it was at the opposite end of that road, we used to give people directions which often contained the words "if you get to the sea, you've gone too far"... something tells me that driver just wanted to check. grin

My hobby continues, these signs were all changed in 1964, and while the basic public convenience signs are still relatively common one with a distance like this is probably the last remaining.
