Where was it they found hash growing abundantly in the garden of the police station a few years back? What a hoot!

Hmmmm, I never noticed that traffic cone....lol

Not a bad way to begin the second to last day of the autumn months. Sunrise over the Pacific Ocean about 80 minutes ago.

Beautiful, Howie!

This is what I imagine the result might be if Precious took a selfie!

Whoa! That's what I call a sunset!

Talking of self-seeding... when I was a child our garden was covered in granny's bonnets, they seeded everywhere and I swear my mother spent half the summer pulling them up. I loved them but whenever I've tried to grow them on purpose, they've given up the ghost and died on me. Nothing daunted, I planted a couple last year and by the end of the summer, there they were - withered, shrivelled, and decidedly on their last legs. And now...

Wonderful sunsets Howie, somehow we rarely seem to get them quite that colourful here.

Really pretty granny's bonnet flopsy. I have them everywhere, they seed all over the place, but only the normal deep blue/purple ones and every so often a pink one. I don't pull them up very often, I love seeing them all over the place, they are a good natural gap filler at this time of year when forget me nots and winter pansies are going over and summer flowers haven't really got into full swing.

I'm leaving this thread open until May has disappeared everywhere but, for all you early birds, June is busting out all over in a separate thread. smile

And now May has officially bust...
