Legendary sportscaster Jack Buck has died at the age of 77. Longtime voice of the St. Louis Cardinals, called play by play for many Super Bowls and World Series games, truly a great gentleman and one of the last of the "old school' of American sportcasters. I always admired his honest, staightforward style and his gentle midwestern manner. An article I read today said it pretty well by noting, "He was a Hall of Fame broadcaster and a Hall of Fame person, too". His trademark signoff at the end of Cardinal's victories is also an apt description of his long and very full life, "It's a Winner"! We'll miss you Jack.
