I'm a teen also and some of my favorites are

1. Harry Potter
2. Queen's Own Fool - this is a great historical fiction
3. Any of Tamora Pierce's books - the circle of magic is the best in my opinion
4. Artimis Fowl
5. The Squire's Tale

I must disagree that Babysitters Club is a teen book.

I just loved the artemis fowl books. I'm a harry potter addict too, but i think that artemis fowl ties very closely with hp books.
I agree, I don't personally like babysitter club novels, and i wouldn't recommend them as a teen book, but everyone has their own tastes.

I myself am I teen and I would have to agree with all of the Harry Potter books being very, very good. Susan Cooper's books are also very good. I have heard from many people that the Artemis Fowl books are good too. Judy Blume is awesome for teens. Lurlene McDaniels is also a very good author.
