After watching numerous press conferences and speeches over the past few months having to do with the Iraq situation, I have made the following observations:

1. President Bush walks as if he is holding his arms away from his imaginary six shooters, gun belt and holster.

2. Donald Rumsfeld's wildly gesticulating hands and stabbing fingers seem to have absolutely no connection with the point he is trying to make!

These aren't criticisms, folks, but random thoughts that flashed into my head most inappropriately, I think, given the seriousness of the situation.

I am Canadian, and maybe I should keep my opinion to myself, but I have faith in President Bush and Colin Powell and all the other key movers and shakers in the events that are about to take place over the next few weeks, and I am sure the U.S. will prove their case against Iraq with concrete facts that are undeniable, at which point many other U.N. countries will unconditionally offer what support they can.
