What are five quizzes that you'd never try, no matter how bored? I DON'T mean quizzes already existing on Fun Trivia--I certainly wouldn't want to hurt any feelings, or discourage the efforts of our wonderful quiz makers. Here are five titles that would never tempt me to click on their links.

1) You and Your Pancreas!
2) Don Knotts: The Heartache Behind the Humour
3) The Exciting Role of Nannobacteria in Soft Clay Mineral Diagenesis
4) Name That REO Speedwagon Tune!
5) Where's the Beef? The True Story of Wendy's Spokeswoman Clara Peller

Anyone who has ever watched the British TV quiz "Mastermind" (and no real trivia freaks would miss it unless they had to) will know that just about anything can be offered as a "special subject" on that programme. But there are some subjects which have been turned down by the programme-makers, and they seem to be the sort of things that you'd naturally avoid in Quizzyland. My five candidates from that list are:

Routes to Anywhere in Mainland Britain by Road from Letchworth
Orthopaedic Bone Cement in Total Hip Replacement
The Development of the Self-service Petrol Station, 1963 to 1968
Cremation Practice and Law in Britain
Meteorology for the Private Pilot Licence

You know, the problem with this thread is that there are some quizmakers out there who might actually be inspired to create some of the abovementioned quizzes!

And I have to say, working in the medical field, I would probably take a quiz entitled "Carbuncles, Boils and Erysipelas: Pustulous Pestilences!" (especially if it was one of Cool's creations).

Actually, well, that's just me perhaps, but I find the topics are not without interest and in fact, when you scan some of the academic publishing lists, you'll find many that you'd never believe. However, as I'm a translator for the most unusual things, I have to generate some interest in all kinds of topics.
I've probably translated some of the above things too.
Here is a sampling of quizzes that I wouldn't take, but, I've had to translate these topics.

Quality Control for tanker truck gangplank manufacturers

Hyperhidrosis, a cure for sweaty hands and feet

    Massive hair transplant surgery

    Cellulite treatment with laser

    Sewage treatment around the world

It's a great way to make a living, don't you think?
