tomato is for sure a fruit.
This has been nagging me as well, for I think tomato would be the #1 consumed fruit.
Something about the type of seeds, I thought, was the reason a tomato is considered a fruit.

Tomatoes were definitely fruit when I was at school - and yes it was to do with it having pips inside.
