I have tried repeatedly to submit a quiz. Yes, I've been registered more than a month and yes I've played well over 100 quizzes. When I try to "create a quiz," I'm taken to a "verify your email" page. I click on "verify" -- but in over 24 hours, and repeated tries, I have yet to receive a confirmation email with a link that will allow me to proceed. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. Really enjoy this site.

As you're the only one reporting this problem:

a) are you running a spam filter on your email - can you look at junked emails?
b) as you joined on Jan 2nd, the system may not recognise "a month" until tomorrow (not sure about this one!).

Yes, I can look at "junked" emails, though my ISP runs Brightmail and filters spam.

Today is February 3rd, and I have still not received the "validation" email with the link so that I can continue.

Thanks for your response: is there anything else I can do?

Is it possible for you to manually send me an email with the link?

I don't know why the process for validating that email address won't go through, but it isn't.

I have tried, now, for some 48 hours. I've tried using both Firefox and IE browsers.

Nothing seems to work.

Yet, I can access my account and these Forums.

Thanks for your help. I really enjoy your site!

I think the problem's your email, not your browser.

I can't send you the link as I don't know what it says; only Terry has access to those details. What I've done is reg'd another user, received the system email, and clicked on the link inside that email. I'll try bastardising that link to suit and sending it to you - check your email.

Thanks. I got your link, but that didn't work either.

I tried modifying my profile, to change my email address to another of my email addresses, thinking that might help.

But the system won't recognize THAT change either.

This is beyond us mere mortals;. I've asked Terry to have a look at it, and see if he digs up anything.

One more question - as the link breaks across 2 lines in the email, did you copy both bits into one long url line?

I FINALLY received the email validation link! It was sent to another email address of mine, which I had repeatedly tried to change from the original one. So I guess that was successful. In any case, I'm now fully on board! Thanks, guys! Appreciate your help -- and patience!
