I played the new quiz for gold members just awhile ago and when I submitted my answers I was given the correct answers to the ones I missed, yet was told that I had already played that quiz when I had not. Sometimes I get this message if I accidently hit the send button twice, but my score would still be displayed. This time my score was not recorded. What happened to my score?

Same thing happened to me the first time I played. Have reported it, so it should be fixed soon. When the next quiz came up, I was able to play and got a score, so it is worth trying again.

Hi SpanishLiz

It is a theory that I entertained as well, but it doesn't hold true, unfortunately.

I played last night and got the same problem where my score was not recorded. Played again this morning with no problem, but tried again just now and back to the original problem.

Just for info

My bug!

Found it... it was using "who's the smartest" data to determine if you were allowed to submit to the new game. Fixed.

Thanks Terry. It recorded my score, but one more question. How can a person be on the board more than once? I see currently that one person is listed #1 AND #13.

That's been fixed. It was telling me I had already played but letting me submit twice. Maybe more, I didn't try. Anyway, it appears to be up and running now.

Thank you for your kind words, but Terry is doing all the work!

It will probably let me keep both scores, but since it's not going to be a full month anyway and the first few games weren't scoring correctly, it doesn't really count.

I suspect Terry doesn't know precisely what problems we might encounter in a new game until a number of people have played and give some feedback on what's happening.

And I don't expect you'll be seeing my name at the top much, if at all. Given the types of questions so far, I think a 10/20 is going to be a good score for me, and there is a lot of stiff competition with those gold stars.

These questions are indeed tough... whereas smartest and TFA have question pools that are weeded for obscurity, this new game does not have anything like that. Also, since the questions will be relatively new, it will be much more difficult for players to start to memorize or remember answers.
