What weight do you want to get to Jane?

I'm guessing you're either up to the maintenance stage of weight loss or have hit a plateau.

It is maintenance isn't it Jane, and very well maintained at that. Five stone loss is amazing, I am in awe of your achievement.

At the moment I'm maintaining, maybe losing a pound, maybe staying the same for four or five weeks, and very rarely allowing a pound or two creep on. I'm happy at my weight. If I ever do get down to a nice "round" eight stone, I would be in seventh heaven. I'm happy at the weight I am at the moment too.

Still no scale, I'd for get my head if it weren't attached, but my newest jeans fit! I haven't been in this size in at least 4 years. Bought one size smaller, just in case

Good for you and the maintaining, Jane.
Rayven, that's fantastic and you must feel great about it!

I though you were at the maintenance stage Jane. Your doing really well it's been a fair few weeks that you've been at the same weight.

I'm sure you'd be able to get down to the eight stone with out too much trouble.

That's really good rayven. I tried on my smaller jeans last night and they almost fit but not quite. They fit better than last time I tried them on though. I know that the clothes I have got fit better (I'm still wearing the same one's though as I currently don't have the money to go and get anything new.)

It's been a while since my last recording of how I am doing With a absoilutely wonderful five day break, I only put five pounds on. And seriously, I do mean only, I could have done a lot more damage This week I lost three pounds of the five pounds making me Eight Stone Six pounds .

That's really good Jane.

I'm down to 110 kilos. That's 8 kilos in about 2 months. I think most of it is because I've been sick and lost my appetite for a while.

I'm hoping to keep the weight off and I'm going to start going to the gym more to help keep it off.

I just tried on the jeans I want to get back into again. They fit around the bottom area but I could only do up the bottom button (the fly is a button up fly with 4 buttons.)

I can actually get into the size they are just not them. I've been wearing a pair of tracksuit pants for the past few days which are the same size. Being tracksuit pants though they have more give than jeans I guess but it shouldn't be too long until I can get into the jeans.

I know it's been a little while - I seem to have hit a plateau (not the gateaus ) but Eight Stone five pounds at the momnent. Sometimes I might put a pound or two on but it eventually goes off

It's that time of year again. Fudge, caramels, all my favorite bad things. Last check was 187 lbs. Not bad but my exercise motivation has gone out the window.

Agreed - December is "relaxed eating" month for me, with such a lot of things going on! But even though I've not been strict with myself for the last month or so, I am still only Eight Stone Six pounds (118 pounds) ) I plan to really enjoy Christmas (but not too much seeming I have new clothes ) and back to it in January!

I've put on some weight. I got weighed at the gym not too long ago and I was up to 111.7 but the trainer said that those scales (which are new because the old ones broke) are about a kilo out so I've only really put on half a kilo.

I'm still walking a lot. This is helped by not having access to a car and having to catch public transport everywhere which usually means some walking both at the beginning and the end.

I've signed up to a new gym which opens in late January which is closer and has more stuff so I think I'm going to be more motivated. I've already worked out what classes I want to do and they've also got a pool.

The gym and the pool are great motivators - particularly the pool! Me and Mum stopped going to our local gym about a year ago, real life got too busy. Still the same weight this week - bet I'm not this time next week!

I've got my next weighing session on the 2nd of January. I think I'll probably be the same weight I was last time, because christmas for me isn't consisting of much this year. Plus I'll be doing more walking between now and then.

Still the same this week. I'd bet money it won't be next week. I still have a new, smaller pair of jeans calling my name from the closet but it'll be January before I stop putting my hands over my ears and saying "La la la".

Weighed myself the other day...wasn't really watching my weight but decided to anyway.
Weighed in at 61.6 kg, which is 135.3 lbs or 9.7 stones.

Oops lioness. I just looked back at your last post. Considering that it was Christmas etc you haven't done too bad though.

I've lost about 2 kilos but the scales at the gym say I'm still the same. Their new scales I got weighed last month and they said 111.7 and now they say 110.3 but they're apparently about 1.5 to 2 kilo's out.

I weighed myself at the shopping centre though they've got scales you put a dollar into and then they tell you your height and weight. I'm 108.something. In stones its 17 and 2 pounds. I think the .something was 4 but I can't remember.

There's a store version of "The Biggest Loser" going on at work. I was smirking until I heard that it's a $20 initiation fee, $1 a week and whoever loses the highest percentage of weight takes the whole pot. When I signed up the pot was at $700. I weighed in at 194lbs. Now that's what I call motivation.

I worked out that the point something was .9 last night. So I've actually lost .5 kilos less than I thought.

What are you going to spend the money on rayven?

I have no idea. Either something terribly practical or a really good dinner

Nothing like new clothes to encourage weight loss! I am still trying to burn off the "christmas weight" but only put on three or four pounds.

I need new clothes especially jeans. I own 4 pairs. 3 of them are now too big and the fourth pair is too small.

The fourth pair are the ones that I want to get back in to but still no luck. I think it's the style and my body shape as even though I've lost weight I can still only do up the bottom button and nothing further.

Well the holidays are over, so back to business and a weekly update This week I'm Eight Stone Eight Pounds (120 pounds) . I still have chocolate and treats over the weekend but I find the secret is not to bring them into the house until the last moment As I said before, I don't want to lose much more weight, if I got to eight stone, I would be delighted

I bought a new pair of jeans from the op shop I work in. I'm not sure what you call them in other countries but it's a shop where people donate clothes, etc and then we sell them on to raise money for a charity.

These jeans fit perfectly and I'm pretty sure they're a size smaller than anything I've got in that brand for a while.

I've got another weigh and measure in a couple of weeks. I have a feeling it's going to be better than it was before. I'm melting at the moment (temperatures here have been 40 celcius + for about the last week) so I'm hoping that it's helping the weight loss as I'm walking most days basically because it's the only way I can get anywhere as we don't have a working car.

Suzie,

When walking in that heat, make sure you drink lots of water! You don't want to get dehydrated.
