Fave band at the moment is Billy Talent, they are an awesome punk/rock band from Canada, hardly anyone over here has heard of them, and even less have heard of Pezz, the name they had when they first started out with a pure punk sound, they still were rather good back then aswell!

The Beatles without a doubt. The Replacements come in a very close second.

Depends on what mood I'm in but the choice may include The Pixies The Smiths The Cure The Fall Sugar Muse Transplants Snow Patrol REM Nirvana Half Man Half Biscuit Pendulum I could go on.... There's a great website called http://play.thisonenext.com where you can enter a fave CD and it'll recommend others based on your choice. If you register, you can add CDs you already own to build up a favourites list etc. It's also got the same facility for books and DVDs. Quite good, really.

System of a Down I rarely find a band with songs that have meanings like this. Quote:
Fave band at the moment is Billy Talent, they are an awesome punk/rock band from Canada, hardly anyone over here has heard of them, and even less have heard of Pezz, the name they had when they first started out with a pure punk sound, they still were rather good back then aswell!
I have both cds by Billy Talent and yes they are a great band. Not one of my favorites but they are good.

If we're talking bands only, then it's definitely Queen.

Stereophonics. Have been a fan of them since 1998 after hearing a few of their songs and then going on a hunt to find their debut album Word Gets Around.

The Rolling Stones. I listened to Beggars' Banquet last night while I was folding laundry.

I have, like, a lot. This basically covers it though: The Beatles The Who The Doors Led Zeppelin The Jimi Hendrix Experience The Rolling Stones The Band Fleetwood Mac Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young Jefferson Airplane Cream Pink Floyd Creedence Clearwater Revival Queen
That's just bands, no solo singers...
